Cars off the road now as have the space and time to tidy up the car, engine bay etc. My plan is to remove the engine and have it on a stand for a couple of months. I want to put the engine back into the car with as much done to prolong its life as possible, although unable to forge.

I've thought of the obvious stuff, cambelt, possibly headgasket, crank seal, oil and filter change, reseal the sump, clutch change. Also replacing any oil seals that may have started weeping over time.

Is there a list of all the oil seals on the 4EFTE engine and possibly a set that you can buy, either oem or oem quality?

Any other works that would be easier while the engine is out? I plan to do a compression test and possibly ring replacement.

Toyota sell a full engine gasket set (which we stock), it includes all the seals and gaskets for a full engine build. Personally I would leave the head gasket alone if it doesn't need doing. Stem seals may well be worth doing though, and the easiest way is to whip the head off.

Just noticed that on your site, thats perfect! Ideally I would like to leave the head gasket alone, but have no proof when it was last done.
