Screamer pipe help

Hey all the screamer pipe I bought had a slight bend in it which ment It wouldn't bolt up due to the decat.

I had a spare flange lying about so I welded it the the straight section leaving the old flange pointing to the ground would this affect the sound as all the screamers I have seen have a slash cut tip ?

Doubt it none of mine had a slash tip,still sounds like a screamer
