noise from front left wheel when driving?!?

as above when driving scraping metal noise as you go faster it gets faster if you slow down it get slower becomes more noisy slower tho :/

firstly thought wheel bearing but there doesnt seem to be any movement in the wheel itself ! i did read that pads dragging on the disc is common or possibly even the guard on the disc may be rubbing

any one had the same problem?!?

you might have got some metel stuck inbetween the pad and disk mate take the pads out and check fella

Yeah gona have a look tomorow but im not to sure it brakes as the noise is still there when you apply the brakes :/ still thinking it could be a wheel bearing but i thought that was more of a rumble ?

yh it is more of a rumble if i was you jack the car up spin the wheel and see what noise you can hear mate but i reckon you might have crap or something in the pad way

Yeah theres no noise when u spin it by hand seems to be when its under load could it be a warped disc possibly ?

jack both sides up put axle stand up start the car up accelerate and listen out that will be you best option if you cant hear it by hand

no probs fella if you have trouble but you hear a noise take a vid with goodish sound and post it up

Have you check the wheel bearing is there play in the wheel cv joint? Ball joint? As my car is in the garage as we speak from same symptoms.

turns out it the flange on the driveshaft bearing has worn it away ! :/ :sad: :sad:

Did you find ever find out 100% what this noise was , I have the same one haha brakes have all been off and cleaned and put back and its still there ???
