Best way to mount some gt style mirrors (stalk/pivot style)

Recommended Posts

Right, going to buy some of these soon, how have you guys fitted yours, or how would the best way be to fit some..

Im thinking, either buy a sheet of carbon and cut some triangular plates out, bond them to the door panel

OR

Forget the carbon and bolt them directly to the door panel?

Does anybody have any pictures of the door with the oem mirrors removed ? so i can get an idea of the holes that are left underneath the mirror that id need to weld and fill.

Muchos thanks :)
