hi just struggling to get my cat off my 1999 starlet 1 bolt i just cant get to!!!! 8o does anyone have any tips? or no how to get the bastard thing off!! lol would be amazeing. :thumbsup:

try the basics WD40 and a breaker bar if that fails add some heat. if you dont have a blow torch or anything can always let it run for awhile to heat up just becarefull you dont burn urself as everything will be hot then.

i got most of the bolts loose there is 1 bolt that is reaaly is a tight spot, just cant get to it. well can get to it just havent got the room to move the spanner 8o

if its glanza v think there is a 4 or 5 12mm nuts on turbo side and 3 14mm where joins to midsection



usually its the one at the back near block that is the bost awkward only way is to remove efi pipe and use extensions to get it off i had similar hardship getting it off

its the glanza v mate. and ye you have got it spot on! its so awkward. 8o was it easy getting the efi pipe off dude? i cant belive i spent like 2 hours just trying to get this bloody bolt off!! lol thanks fella :D

efi pipe comes off handy enough two bolts and clip on turbo intake only way i was able to take it off was with a 3/8" drive 12mm socket and a couple of extensions and a bit of fiddling and it will come off dont worry if the stud comes out along with nut some do this

if it does it does no problem try get as much of the bits outta your way make it a bit handier and give ya a bit more room to get at it im nearly 100% there 12mm nuts on the cat to turbo

Dog leg 12 mm spanner ?if not just take it of from manifold and cat pipe and do it of the car and same when putting back on if this helps
