Pete_A
Morning all, ive changed all my suspension and upon refitting ive now got a knocking noise from the front ns when i go over any kind of small bump at all, its just like a "clunk" of metal knocking. Is there anything i may have knocked? Or ommitted to do? Or could it be a worn strut top? All help gratefully recieved.

JDMfreak
glad ya found the cause is it stock suspension you swapped around or standard shocks and springs to standard shocks and lowering springs
Pete_A
the later, new standard shocks with lowering springs, the play really is unbelievable, and rather unsettling, never realized how hard some parts were to come by for starlets
JDMfreak
can you use one of your old top mounts or did ya swap them onto the new shocks already as new one didnt come with them.. top mounts can be got one ebay not alot to buy new,, very hard to come across good 2nd ones unless are still standard with springs and never touchedhave a mooch on ebay might come across a set or if ya wanna splash out maybe a set of camber adjustable ones have a pillow ball type bearing and are much stronger can set them to be completely at stock camber so still has standard stance to it
