sk8chris Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 i just fitted my apexi power intake today, and have just taken the gt for a quick drive to see how it is, and the noise the intake is making has got me quite woried it doesnt seem to have changed the sound as the revs get higher but as soon as i change gear there is what i can only descibe as a blow off valve sound, which i have never heard from an induction kit before, and my friend has the same apexi filter on his primera and his sounds nothing like this. is this just a turbo thing or has something gonewrong?the car is standard other than the apexi air filter Quote Link to post Share on other sites

WallaceGlanza Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 Yeah its totally normal, the stock bov is a recirculating one and dumps into the air intake. Now that you've removed the stock air box you can hear it through the apexi intake. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
