Vturbo
I just wanted to know how hard it is to split the turbo from the mani while in situ on the car..I want to leave the mani on the car as I have had the head welded around one of the studs so don't really want to disturb it and end up with a facked head again..any advice will be appreciated
patman
Pretty easy to do mate turbo to downpipe nuts off air filter pipe off, oil return pipe off, and oil banjo bolt off, then turbo to manifold nuts off ones at the back can be a pain but be patient don't think I have forgotten anything else Edited March 28, 2015 by patman

patman
That's ok mate you might have to take the rad off if you got a standard rad in but as you got a V and I have a GT not sure how much space to have
5e colin
best to take full unit of its way faster and way easier to get the back turbo nuts off they often round off make sure to use a good new spanner
Ryan_EP82 GT
The nuts are hateful careful of them slipping. Also dog leg spanners help to get into the back turbo to mani nuts
Vturbo
Yeah thanks for the input, just not sure about taking the whole unit off unless completely necessary, as I say the head has been welded don't want to disturb it too much
