Cattanach Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Noticed the steering wheel in my EP82 vibrates/shakes on idle!Fine when moving just when I'm stationary it does it!I'm guessing it's an engine mount ? Any idea how to tell which one without having a proper look ?Randomly it also gets worse if I turn the heater setting up haha Quote
Cattanach Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 All standard mounts, so being 21 years old im guessing they're all excessively worn Quote
gazza g Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 with aftermarket exhausts they can resonate and cause shaking on idle, raise idle a touch see if that helps Quote
ReeceGolliker Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I get this as well, it only does it when the engines not up to temperate and therefore idling higher than it should! If it vibrares all the time you could try altering the idle speed to see if that improves it as said above. Quote
FrozenJakalope Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Try cleaning your throttle body as well. Blast some carb cleaner in there to get the shit off from around the butterfly. Made a world of difference to mine. Quote
Lawless Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I just got rid of this problem myself it was my drivers side engine mount used to vibrate at all times when still Quote
