hot plug

i nead reasons why the fuel pump plug would heat up ????

surge of power through cable causing it to get hot any crossed or melted wires in loom running to it also check amperage of fuse in fuel pump location and relay is ok if they stick they get hot

^^^^ that was it mate the blue white wire ( + to pump ) the terminals where black and loose shorting out making the heat

al sorted no tho
