Mart
Dont know mate I never had one,But quoting from Tobys store:Night Pager Screamer pipe for CT9. Helps to increase turbo response time and horsepower by eliminating the standard catalytic converter. Vents gases to atmosphere rather than back to the exhaust sytem giving the intoxicating "screamer" soundYou could PM him for more info or ask Rick above?

GoingRogue
Old thread but for anyone still wondering.A screamer pipe is used when the turbo and manifold assembly are externally wastegated (as oppose to internally wastegated). Vents straight to the atmosphere as oppose to being bypassed around the turbo.I don't believe you can fit a screamer pipe to an internally wastegated turbo assembly unless you change the manifold but seems pointless to me, may as well find a TD05 16G turbo kit and manifold with external wastegate. Best way of turning a 80 year old on thats walking down the street? Screamer pipe. Will turn her right on.
