Bug679 Posted April 28, 2015 Share Posted April 28, 2015 hey all so after installing my oil catch can this morning the car smoked near straight away ALOT.I had one pipe from pcv valve to catch and other one going to intake manifold.This sound right with the piping ? anyone know why me car started smoking ? i switched it off right away and i have one pipe vented to air and the intake manifold blocked off any help would be great. _shaun_ Posted April 28, 2015 Share Posted April 28, 2015 have you gutted the pcv valve? it only opens under vacuum so if your can is set up isnt air tight it wouldnt open the pcv valve at all and cause smoke Quote Link to post Share on other sites
