Fuel pump issues

i recently had my dash out to get it flocked and change the heater matrix, since putting it back in the fuel pump isn't working, I bridged 2 of the terminals in the diagnostic plug and it then worked perfect. Before putting the dash in I checked multiple times to see if there was anything I missed.. Anyone got any ideas before I rip it all back out again?
