robwob88 Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 I'm going to be doing an engine swap in the coming weeks and I'm just getting together the final bits for the job. Which grade oil is best for mainly road use but with the potential track day every so often. It's a fully forged 4efte which will be tuned to make around 220bhp. Am I better off with fully or semi synthetic oil? Also 5/30, 10/40 etc...these all mean nothing to me. What is recommended and what are you all using?Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
AdamB Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) 5w40 fully synth, consult the engine builder as to what to use as everyone uses different tolerances.
