As above how much would you say it is worth just the ring gear alone in good used condition?

Not much... id say price of postage + price of a pint.

Unless soneone is especially going to the trouble of removing a gearbox, stripping a box and taking it off for you, then yeah pay them labour aswell.

Thanks for that chap. It's just that I was asked if I could supply one to someone as I'm stripping a few boxes down and didn't want to give a stupid price as i don't think it's fair. So I'll leave the offer up to him.
