natural born nutter Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 My glanzas handbrake keeps sticking on every morning, i keep having to jack it up take the wheel off and prize the mechanism back to get the handbrake off. Is this moisture in the cables freezing or is my caliper knackered. Has anyone had this problem before.Any help would be much appreciated. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Ryno Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 it's a common problem with Starlets (& MR2's apparently)my view is that it's moisture in the HB cable! can't see that i've ever seen a dinifitive cure for the problem posted.For me the new cables were far too much money for the sake of just leaving the HB off a couple of nights a year.i always use to keep an eye on the weather and make sure i left the GT in gear and HB off over night!there's a thread going on TGTT atm about the same subject HERE Quote Link to post Share on other sites
