paddy
Just fitted a td04 kit with external wastegate, when the boost controller is hooked up it will run fine for a while, only running .7 - .9, but I'll put my foot down in 1st or 2nd and the boost controller will just stop working, and the boost goes to way over 1 bar! I'm worried about blowing my engine, anyone got any suggestions why it's doing this? It's wired up like this http://www.blitzpowerusa.com/techsupport/pdf/dualsbc_specs-r.pdfI've got the pipe on the top of the wastegate going to out, a pipe from before the throttle body going to in, and the nipple on the side of the wastegate going to the nipple on the turbo. Is this right for a starlet? The car runs fine with the boost controller disconnected
Mk3 silver gt
Have you put the switch at the back of the unit to external wastegate because you probably have it set to actuator but try that mate
