Paddybulldog
Just replaced the Sony tape player with a JVC CD player and all works fine. Only issue is that it wont save stations and loses all other presets like bass/ treble etc. Anyone know why that might be? I bought the autoleads wiring harness to connect the starlet to the JVC and its all plug and play. Any help appreciated. Car is a 1997 Sportif

I will have a look, thank you! Hopefully that will sort it Whilst we are at it, how do I get to the front speakers in the lower dash? The drivers one comes on and off when it feels like it, hoping its just a loose wire
fordie_glanzaV
Yeh just swap over the red and yellow connections. Is very ofter the case as 1 is perminant live and Memory needs to be to perminant live to save stations..As for the speakers just look at the panel its behind should be 4 or 5 screws looking at u undo those and whole panel will drop down.
