200sx-Starlet-Jay
my toyota celica was a 7afe, the 1.8i uk spec car. has anybody done the throttle body change to there starlet?? cant remember where i read it but i think someone said it was a mod that can be done to the 4efe. if so is it a straight swap or does it require some fabricating?! would there be a noticable increase in power/response ect!!!? rmsnoel
No difference lad. The inlet of the corolla manifold is smaller than the opening of the 7afe throttle body. The 4afe throttle body is easier fitted as the TPS is the same. 4AFE is the 1.6L found in bugeyed corollas and avensis's. It will fit to the corolla manifold but there will be no difference, you would need to remove the throttle plate from the manifold, grind the opening on the plenum out abit and weld her back on.Congrats on your 99.2BHP by the way rock on.
