how do you reset ure ecu?!

i thort u just disconect battery and thats it... altho it can mess with alarms, stereo settings ect! is there an easyer way... and how long are you supposed to leave it disconected for?!

it wont do anythin to the stereo or an alarm mate.

just unplug the EFI fuse from the fusebox in the engine bay.

after 15 or so mins, put it back.

Resets the settings back to the factory standard, then it can lightly re-tune itself to things like an airfilter, exhaust and boost increase..Not a huge difference but it may help.They dont adjust much

hey bro yea its next to another one the same size, its denoted by efi on the back of the black box, thats the one.

leave it out for 30 seconds and your ecus as good as done,

nope cars still not sorted :angry: but when i removed the 15a efi fuse which is just a normal fuse not the black box thing my engine management light went off so what does that 15a fuse actually control?
