H3c bulbs Badly fitting

I bought h3c bulbs off eBay a few months ago and they fitted badly thinking it was the cheap bulbs I bought more expensive ones from elsewhere and the new ones fit badly to anyone had this problem?

They won't fit in the squared off and semicircler holes that locate them properly so won't sit straight.

I'm sure I used H4 bulbs when I did mine

Sorry i mean h3c for the fog lights. My headlights are H4.

I used h3 bulbs (a lot cheaper)they wasn't a fantastic fit so I used a file the make the notches slightly bigger works a treat :-)
