Wossner pistons scat rods

Hi all . I have a built 5e with ross pistons on scat rods. Cyl1 has failed turnes out that the piston has det marks and tiny cracks on the intake side. Anyway does anyone no for sure if i can replace the ross pistons with wossner piston using the same scat rods

As long as you replace them with the same diameter pistons they should be fine

not sure on the pins to be honest, not seen both to compare.

i'd imagine you'll need to use wossner pins on wossner pistons, ross pins on ross pistons etc. tolerances are probably different. just make sure you get pins and circlips when you buy a new set of pistons if you havent already

Make sure, they are the same weight

Yea i understand that. But what i mean is will the wossner pins fit the scat rods that i already have

not to sure if i would do that mate,

if the piston is different on top and has a slight different Compression because of that or it might have a different weight, jou will have a miss balance in your engine,

in my opinion never mix pistons around even if they fit.

No dude i mean replacing all my ross pistons with wossner. I can get wossner pistons quicker than i can get ross and im running out of time need my car back on the road asap
