  1. i found out that the plug for the fuse box is an easy way to see of it is the correct one
  2. dear all, im on the hunt for a wiring harness for my 98 glanza (car got a standalone and lots of mods on this particular harness, but it keeps giving me trouble so want to change it out). i've found that there is diffrences in the routing and the fuse box seems to be diffrent, but is there an easy way to tell the diffrence when its just the loom without the rest attached to it? thanks for now, steven
  3. also running a emu, awesome piece of kit! what ignition trigger do you use when running you're emu ? any knowledge of what sort of ignition timing you run ? let me know if you have any info!
  4. tuning developments put one on a turbo'd 4efe. so can be run non turbo also.
  5. dear all, I've done a ecu masters on my glanza. got it mapped here locally in holland. im trying to hook up my taco again but does anyone know witch wire i need from the tacho to hook up to my ecu ? second of all, what sort of ignition angle do you use on you're TD04 setup ? between like say 4 tot 7,5K rpm at full throttle and full boost. hope you have some answers for me! thanks for now.
  6. did you use a torque wrench when fitting it ? if you over tighten the oil pump housing it might deform and cause the pump to get seize.
  7. volkswagen guys use these a lot on the VR6 builds. they take a layered head gasket apart en use the top and bottom layers and stick a plate in between.
  8. not to sure if i would do that mate, if the piston is different on top and has a slight different Compression because of that or it might have a different weight, jou will have a miss balance in your engine, in my opinion never mix pistons around even if they fit.
  9. we had ours at 0,7 bar. stock apart from a FMIC and a filter relocate. ran about 158 horsepower or so. drove it for 40.000 KM's since we own it and now doing a rebuild because we would like some extra BHP, doing a full forge. toyota spend a shit load of money on making the car good and replacing stuff with cheap eBay crap just makes it less reliable.
  10. love you're fab works! always try to make stuff myself but my tig welding is not yet good enough to make manifolds and stuff!
  11. as the titel says, how much clearance is needed when notching for connecting rods ? i would say 1,5 to 2mm's, but just want you're opinion for a piece of mind. thanks for now
  12. poor some fuel in it. shake like madness with hands in the in and outlet. repeat a couple times and you should be ok!
  13. was it a new one ? probable boost is pressing the BOV open under load. is it a adjustable one ? screw in the screw. if not try OEM one and see what happens.
