5e colin Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) hey lads i cut of the feet of my 82 rails and welded cros bars on the feet while they where bolted back in the car now i thought they m feet where supposed to be level ??? my seat is lopsided bugger any tips and tricks to get them nice centered and level Edited January 28, 2016 by 5e colin Quote Link to post Share on other sites
glanzanut22 Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 Prob best to nip the feet back off with a grinder, bolt them into place. Then offer the frame up to them level, and then mark their positioning on the frame to re weld. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Flaminsam Posted January 30, 2016 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Can be bloody tricky to get the rails just right. I used a spirit level across the bars to get the seat sat straight. So from the door to the hand brake surround if that makes any sence? Get it level on that then it should sit straight in the car. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
