Ethanep82 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/99175-zep-engine-torque-damper/ Theres 1 for sale, top of the parts for sale mate.
Damienx13 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 There is some lad on Facebook with one for sale. New in the box still. tegiwa £80 Toyota starlet performance parts page
Pikey009 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Seems that the JD tuning ones on eBay have gone but they were only £65 so I'm not surprised
Gainzy Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 They are all over rated and weigh loads for what they are and they tend to crack. That zep one's worth a go in the for sale section but again poly bush will work just as effective.
Damienx13 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I don't think poly bushed Is that bad tbh but some people hate them. Try get the Jd tuning set as apparently they are slightly softer than the power flex and will vibrate less. Can always sell them on if it's not for you
jamesglanza Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I have a jd tuning engine torque damper if any one needs one? £50 delivered. Pm me
Pikey009 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Had a 'soft' one on my MPS and still got pretty bad vibrations but it's an option I guess. James- how come you're selling?
Gainzy Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Torque damper and poly bush will vibrate anyway's but you just adapt to it over time. I can't remember how it used to feel it's been that long for the money just buy a poly bush imo
jamesglanza Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Have just bought the zep one that was for sale as I'm refreshing the engine bay. Nothing wrong with the jd damper, works as it should just fancied a change. I used to run TRD engine mounts and engine damper in the car when it was my daily for comfort as it used to soak up the abuse without being harsh. Also no teeth chatter at traffic lights which was a bonus.
