Davidku Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 So I was Planning an engine swap for this summer anyway but that's been brought forward as my worst fears have been confirmed today, after 200k it's time for a bit of work or replacment NOW haha. It's just began drinking oil the past few weeks, probably valve stems or rings. Anyway, I was thinking of trying to find a low milage N/A starlet and doing a straight swap but if Im going to spend some money swaping engines is the 5E engine an easy swap? Also the reason for swaping engines and not just cars is the chasis is to good to throw away and also I love the thing lol, if I do even go for a straight 4E-FE swap is there a reputable sorce for engines?
