matt1986
HI nice Matt, is that nardi wheel from a Ferrari?? Looks very retro and unique mate.Hey Shyam, thanks, to be honest I'm not sure, I bought it from a guy in Japan, it was the only one I could find in mint condition with no lacquer peeling or cracks..then I bought the Ferrari horn button separately, it's actually a genuine Ferrari part, it was cheaper than a Nardi horn button ha!The wheel makes driving the car feel completely different and I love it!! Highly recommend a Nardi! I like the retro style, not everyone's cuppa tea though!
Shyam
Yes mate, I'm sure some will say its not period correct but i think it looks cool nevertheless.. Did you use the Japanese ebay then? I think I should get one to match the shocking vintage handling I'm experiencing on my Glanza atm lol. Next items on the list are a set of Miester R coilovers and some powerflex bushes haha.. So what is this Matt, does this turn into a game of improving our cars and teasing for a swap? haha

So what is this Matt, does this turn into a game of improving our cars and teasing for a swap? hahaNo I just used eBay.com, there is a few decent Japanese sellers on there, I'm going Meister R's as well, have cusco's atm but they are pretty stiff for daily driving. I also have powerflex engine mounts and they are sending vibrations right through the dash, I'm on the search for TRD mounts, suppose to be less vibration from them..rare though..I also bought TRD adjustable dampers and springs which I might refurb and test out..I don't know what this is ha, I still want a black automatic but I also can't wait ha, so I'm getting mine to the spec I want and then may convert it all over to a black auto eventually.. Shyam
haha well lets continue whatever it is because I'm enjoying seeing the progress on yours.. My progress may be somewhat slower but by the end of this year I'm hoping to have built a cracking little go kart. You mentioned that your dad and bro are automatic transmission specialists...would you happen to have any info on how to support bigger power on auto box in a Glanza pal? You mentioned that your dad and bro are automatic transmission specialists...would you happen to have any info on how to support bigger power on auto box in a Glanza pal?As far as I know, the automatic box can take serious enough power 250-280 bhp, don't quote me on those figures but a guy here had a serious setup with an automatic V with no issues as far as I know.My bro did setup a 300zx automatic a few years back to handle 1000bhp, so I'll ask him what he did to it to handle the power. Shyam
Yes mate, I'm led to believe that one of the first TD04 conversions was carried out on an Auto. I drove a manual Glanza yesterday for the first time, it was stock and I loved it mate, completely different experience all together. I do like the chilled out experience of pointing and shooting with an Auto and it's brilliant in rush hour/traffic but I do prefer the manual for straight up driving and having control over the gears through bends and turns. Sorry to say but I think I'm swaying towards converting mine to Manual... Let me know what your bro did with his Auto though, I'm still in two minds atm. In an ideal world, I'd like to have both Edited February 21, 2018 by Shyam
