junaid_11
Hi guys,As I was parking my car up yesterday I noticed that there was some fresh drops on the floor which looked like Coolant that was coming from the direction of the car. I got underneath and had a look and saw a small puddle of Coolant due to the colour and that it was not thick so couldn't be oil as I had an oil leak before but has all been sorted, the leak is coming from near the sump as far as I can see, it's on the left hand side where the timing belt is, I haven't had a chance to Jack it up and see exactly where it is coming from but any ideas? I was thinking it is most likely the water pump that has failed? The car doesn't overheat, it runs and drives as it should, I recently had the timing belt done and various other parts. Any ideas on where the leak could be coming from?
starletezy
That would be the water pump mate
Chops
Youll have to put a bit of cardboard under the front wheel to determine exactly where its falling down, then chase it back bud. Coolant can run across things all over the show before it falls down to the floor best not to make assumptions! Edited June 3, 2017 by Chops

H_D
The water pump has a weep hole which will release drops of water when it fails.
