rob_bower
Having done this when I swapped to glanza clocks for the conversion I thought it might help others, whether it be conversion or swapping to an sr cluster keeping original mileage is always the way forward. 1) Start off by removing the binnacle from around the clocks by removing the 2 securing screws and pulling it out. Then remove the 3 screws holding the clocks in one at the top and one in each bottom corner. 2) This is the tricky bit. You need to release the speed cable from the back of the clocks takes some fiddling but you'll get there. 3) once the clocks are out they look like this,4) un-do the securing clips holding the front (black) section in place by depressing the clip and testing it apart. 5) Pull the needle off you might find it easier the prise it off with a flat head screw driver but be careful. 6) On the reverse if the clocks unscrew the 4 (one missing in the pic) screws this will release the speedo and odometer.7) Un-do the 2 small black screws on the front of the speedo releasing the odometer from the clock face. Now the odometer is out, replace it with the one with the correct mileage. 9) Replace all bits in reverse making sure you check the speedo needle returns to 0 before re attaching the casing. 10) Congratulations you now have a set if clocks with the correct miles. 11) Now just left to re-fit the clocks and tidy up.
