Bought a new car for the Mrs. What you think?
Glanza-Ben replied to lewisnoakes's topic in Photography Gallery
Cool little car my neighbour has one he loves it and spends thousands on it the only problem he ever has is rust -
Will try fitting it again Tomos and hope for the best any things gotta be better then mine as its only hitting 0.5bar then dies off its proper wanked but still quicker then my mates stock glanza lol
-
From a guide on the net it says 0.8 bar is around 123mm on the rod length so have tried to set it just before that
-
Have got it on now from what you said pulled it tight will try fit the turbo Tomos and idea the length of actuator length to get just under 0.8bar
-
I will just eat me dinner and try again and see what happens
-
If its a hole type then yes would help a lot I hope lol
-
If I pull any tighter on mine to try fit it I think it will rip the rod out the actuator and the rod don't sit straight then it comes out at a angle My old actuator is just a stock one on my other ct9
-
That don't look any different to my actuator :/ but Shorely that would mean the hybrid is wider but that won't make sense either
-
I need a hole type actuator ASAP that will fit the pic below as my hks one is clearly no where near the right one If it makes any odds this is a speed vision 2 hybrid ct9
-
Thanks for the that bud I wish I could just make something was ment to be goin to a show Saturday at castle Combe hence needing to change my turbo but gonna have to cancelled that now
-
Cheers bud i just wish bits would just fit that I buy off here
-
If I pull the arm out to make it fit the turbo will be about 90psi lol can some one put a pick of the hks actuator up? It don't line up either but may of if it was longer
-
Na as mine is pin type and this is hole type :/
-
Yea that's what I'm thinking I've looked at other hks ones on the net and they all look the same either way I'm pretty pissed off as have a car with a blown turbo a hybrid with no actuator and a hks actuator that's no fitment to my turbo at all
-
It's a speed vision 2 hybrid and the hks actuator I bought off here as was ment to be for a ct9 and Ryan land it's 6cm and 3mm long the bit the comes off, am pissed right off as nothing I have bought off people on here ever fits and I have to end up buying more bits
-
That's how short it is
-
I can't wind it any more it's that short
-
When it's bolted on its miles off
-
I was about to fit mud new hybrid and came with some troubles one the hks seems to tight and won't go on is this the wrong actuator? And the second is I can't even use my old actuator as its the hole type
-
The problem I have is all the decent tuning companies are miles away I took my golf to amd Essex for stage 2 which was a 4 hour drive there and another 4 back its a nightmare Tryna find a local decent mapper, may just have to bite the bullet and drive to TD
-
I had a few of my old cars remapped golf 1.8t at 279bhp Clio 182 cup at 206bhp impreza to 324bhp but want the glanza around 200bhp that's why I was thinking plug and play instead of paying a lot extra to drive a stupid amount of miles for a decent mapper plus a stand alone fitment
-
Just fix the gt and have both? I'm planning to get a gt as a daily and put my glanza away for fun
-
I'm ready for a new ecu now and wondering what the rough BHP will be from a plug and play ecu on my glanza, I will be fitting a speedvision 2 hybrid Tomos along with hks actuator at 0.75 bar but will be 1 bar with plug and play also have front mount, relocated air filter, zisco manifold, decat, full stainless exhaust Is it worth paying for a a plug and play or just get a greddy emanage and a map will the be much difference in BHP figures cheers

Na the interior is a straight swap as the Ibiza is based on a 6n2 polo inside but outside its based on a mk3 golf so engine sits on the subframe instead of side mounts but we are using the front cross member and mount off the cupra and side mounts off a mk4 1.8t I got quote name="Billy SR" post="826504" timestamp="1366563489"]this is going to be nuts, bit of a rare car to break though you nutter!

Hopefully it will the dash is all in fine lines up with polo interior only things left to do really is mount engine wire it back in and fit the shafts hubs Brakes off the Cupra onto the polo there's no proper wiring as have use the whole loom from the seat so just gotta joint the rear lights wires up and away it goes touch wood just keeps me busy when I'm bored
