Don't know who the seller was it was someone on eBay I have read up about turbodaves on google from the other forum am gonna price a repair kit up and go from there

I've just checked again and the compressor wheel is touching one of the sides so will need a rebuild, so will order a rebuild kit up and get it done I'm goin to forge it once this engine dies so plans will soon change and hawwy there me work socks lol

So being a high flow means its not worth rebuilding or is it still?

Well I will take it to work clean it up have a proper look at it then if it needs a rebuild will source the parts

I've only had jap a few months as was big into the vw scene and am a vw tech apprentice so am capable of anything mechanical wise with some advice

I can rebuild it at work as few work mates have offered to do it I just need to source the parts will the seals and bearings etc be stock ct9 parts?

So is £30 bad for a hybrid? Tbh it has minimal play in it, will clean it up properly when I get to work Tomos and go from there

It don't look like any on that link was there such a hybrid by turbodave as that's what he said it was when selling

Na it ain't Ment to be working I bought on the fact he was selling it as a hybrid and was gonna rebuild it but seems like he's just tried to get a better sale by saying its a hybrid by turbodave or something

That's promising was there a certain amount of makes for hybrids to identify what one it is if it is one or does any one slap one together

I am goin to message the seller in a bit then and ask why the hybrid he has sold ain't a hybrid lol

If it is standard I will be getting my money back lol

Yea smeatharpes the area it's where modified mania is every year and several drift days a month it's actually not in Exeter either its in between Tiverton and honiton I try to go to as many shows,drift days, and drag races up there as possible cause its a good local day out
