Yes I got the light without the glass broke...but I did not force that part open and it was still attached to the headlight

The light was already completely useless before you sent it to me.why would I force it apart what would I have to gain from seeing as I was sending it back to you??

I sent you the balance on the. 19th of april,you only supplied a tracking number on the 9th of may,the package was delivered to my house around may 22nd but I only got back home the 24th to check the stuff out..i emailed you that day to say the other parts were missing..

You replied saying you were chasing it up,it took until june 2nd to "find" the missing package you said it would be with me asap..i asked for a tracking number I never received one and have never received any correspondence so why would I just sit around waiting for the parts in obviously goin to go to paypal.

My pictures of packagin show they were well boxed..

Why would I want the bulbs back are you takin the piss..they would probably get lost in the post anyway

The lights came back damaged more then they were when you received them, the lights fitted in the car and when in the poor repair was not seen, they were took straight from the car and sent to you, the repair was done by a member on here as he supplied me with that ligjt and it fitted his car to, its not about the repair or anything now, i agreed to refund you if they were returned, i received them smashed and destroyed completely and there still in the same packaging you sent as i only had to open the box to see the damage if you think your delivery company damaged them then shorely you can make a claim? If i sell the covers thats survived i will give you what ever i get from that as if they were received how sent you would of got your refund

As said been goin threw paypal you have had plenty time to reply on there etc

I've just seen this update from ben..what the fuck are you sayin I damaged any of those parts I sent them back exactly as they were received and you actually got 2 new bulbs as one of the blue ones was blown

first of all saying that the spare light and grill were on the way is such bull..i emailed and messaged you several times asking for trackin numbers for the "grill" and "spare light" you chose not to reply to me..i will happily screenshot all my emails and pms to prove it

you said you had stuff going on at home in some of our first message before you sent me any parts at all,i am only human that could have been anything sick family member or whatever so I gave you the benefit of the doubt waiting for the grill and light...but it became a joke I had no choice but go to paypal

how is that you sent the lights to me wrapped in clingfilm (yes clingfilm not bubblewrap) in the flimsiest box you could find and the glass was intact

but I put it in a heavy wall cardboard box with extra slices of cardboard it manages to get broken..

this is the headlight he has pictured above exactly the way I sent it back

this is the other headlight with the reflective part inside corroded because the unit has several holes in it and iirc the small mounting broken off it

one of the indicators..

im really not arsed holding grudges with you but I know those parts were the same when I sent them as I received them and you know it

your being a complete dick tryin to claim back from paypal..I've already lost my 50 pound deposit and delivery back to you I've only received 64 pound back from paypal

I've bought and sold loads of parts over the years.loads of people in Ireland know me personally and have only ever had bother with one person before and even now I don't hold it against him

I even sent that guy from Holland a complete front panel last year when nobody else would bother tryin to sort him out

I said one head light had a repair that was poor but when fitted was unseen and worked fine, but when received back it had been ripped open as seen, there was a spare back that was goin to replace that,but you went threw paypal and i said return then etc so it was all official from paypal.

If your saying you did not break the glass then your delivery company did then, so you can claim it back off them if you insured it.

Im sorting it with paypal as thats the way i feel to do it.

You would of got your full refund if the lights came back not torn open and not smashed.

And as for sending hundreds of parts join the club i have to but thats irrelevent

The light came back completely useless and if you want the bulbs i will send them back. Not smashed

Glad to see it back in action love the 4's so what did the garage do after all this mess?

They refunded me for a engine, i got a specialist company to supply a recon, done what was needed to refit, got it all in spent a fortune on parts, oils, turbo, clutch etc

Went to start it and found the company who built the engine timed cams up wrong by 95 degrees out on each.

At this time i gave up and was in a low place as lost so much time and money so far.

Then last week just went at it redone everything and now its done apart from fit gear linkages on properly and bleed the clutch, o and tappits are noisy but its commen on evos so will just get some 3mm ones as stock are 1mm

Bit of a update since ive been away from this forum

This car has been a nightmare and ruined me for a good few months

Had lots of new parts, the new engine was a mess, bits missing and the cams were 95 degrees out so had to redo that, loads of evo companys messed me around with parts or poor build.

eventually i have finally got it running and a big weight off my shoulders

Thats how far cams were out marks on rocker for timing and mine were in the middle center

It 99% finished ad running

Also got a daily gt tdi

And yes i know what its like to be ripped off to as spent the last 3 months dealing with a garage and a specialist engine builder who both ripped me off for over 4k,

Nick has known everything about the lights but wanted paypal to sort it and only thing i did not do was send cooler which i will rectify today for jez

Right then lets straighten some things out here

1st things 1st strut brace actually went missing thats gone

Secondly when i sent chrissy the lights they had a repair but fitted the repair was poor but a spare light was on way with grill but they went threw paypal so i agreed threw paypal send them back and will refund.

This is how the lights got returned

They were sent as working and akaypotter can tell you that as he seen them before the car got broke a day before as built his starlet for him

Paypal have re opened the case chrissy put in as they have been completly destroyed and i feel its fair that i shoulf not loose out on all the money!

Finally i got nick(akaypotter) to pass my number onto the guy who had all the parts but i received no contact,there will be a complete cooler sent up tomorrow and will have tracking today i will post on here t9 show all

What happens if you can prove it was collected, someone said you had a receipt, does that mean hermes have to foot the bill as they've lost it? Or what if it turns up in a few days? Does she/he get a free brace?

I got the collection note they gave me so its either gone missing on the van or god knows ringing hermes shortly

Another update for you all, spoken to myhermes online support & there is no record of a recollection being booked or it being picked up by another van or a late pickup or whatever other excuse glanza Ben says (I've got proof) so I decided to phone PayPal with regards to the case & they said that my Hermes hadn't had any updates on the collection since 10days ago so issued me (Kayleigh) with a refund straight away, I will put it all on here for all you guy to see so that you realise I'm not lying or making anything up, I didn't want the money back tbh I just wanted the brace for my car but obviously that was too hard for glanza Ben to do

Its was collected so now ive lost both and am on my way home to ring my hermes my self, i aint lying if i was to of bumped or even tried to bump you i would not of even made the booking or file a complaint to hermes or made the effert to have it recollected so seems ive lost out on a brace and youve got your money back

Yea they paid for the new engine, but ive spent a fair wack now myself on it, i was hoping the engine would of been in tonight but now give up expecting things to go as planned on this car

New engine is built up but having trouble removing transfer box as need a slide hammer so now once thats sorted i can pop box on and get engine in

On a positive note the clutch is like new

Also sent my turbo off to liam D for a rebuild

Get a glanza, people where just offering advice on another choice instead of a impreza, i took my mates 360bhp p1 out and went and bought a evo after as the scooby just felt crap and the power was not all that, there was no fun in driving it, but every one has a different opinion on what they like

A glanza would be way more fun then a scooby

Performance direct are cheap as chips, sky and green light would not even give me a quote

Buy a evo if your loaded lol
