The rears only do around 10-15% of the braking. The drums will work just as well as the discs on braking. But you'll have a far better handbrake as a result lol.
OK sound mate what if I was to swap for discs is it easy done?

Drums for the handbrake run rings round the calipers. My N/A used to be left anywhere on the handbrake alone. My glanza I wouldn't trust even in gear lol.
If the Starlet ones are fine on the glanza running over 200bhp I will just get my mates as he has one on his Starlet
Got a free one if you can collect been sat around for a little collection from Bristol

as for turbo,map and painting.... personally id wack the kit on get it mapped and enjoy it over the summer and then tinker with it and paint engine ect in the winter

Few updates + pics
Decided it was time to buy new headlights + indicator lenses it's made a hell of a difference
Went to a local meet on Saturday night + only gone + won first place in the show + shine 😀 well buzzing 👌
Also ordered my external wastegate today will be here tomorrow 😀 can't wait to get the td04 kit on + up + running!!
Still unsure what to do guys what's your thoughts try get turbo + kit fitted + mapped before jap fest 2 + JAE or wait till after then get the engine out clean it up + paint it then when the engine goes back in fit the kit then get it mapped 🤔🤔.
At some point I do want my engine out to clean it all up etc.
