Im a complete novice when it comes to doing mechanical things but i want to upgrade to a corolla manifold... Ive read as much as i can find on the forums but I'm still a little clueless... I know its gen 1 4efe inlet manifold, and its a little difficult to get to the bolts but its a straight swap... Do i need to change anything else when installing it? What do i do with the throttle body? And i suppose the most important question is, 1-10, 10 been the most difficult how hard is this swap? And should i even attempt it been a kak handed novice? Haha

Thanks mate, glad to be here starlet was my first car 7 years ago, sold it to my grandad and when he wouldnt sell me it back... Had to buy this one... Picking it back up monday afty so will get some pics then :-) Sorry lads but ive never been one to follow the crowd and everybody's got all the spoilers available... At least give it a chance lol if it looks complete shite i will burn it haha

First purchases made... Got some front lowering springs for £3 and a corsa c spoiler for free which im gunna mould into the bootlid... Just as soon as the car comes back from MOT

I will name and shame because its ridiculous... Quicks in Hull, hessle road Took it across the road and was quoted 475 to do the lot... 300 cheaper, left it there haha

So, had my starlet for 4 months now... Had some minor plans for upgrading some stuff but after a £763.02 MOT bill I'm gunna have to make this car look like its worth near a grand and a half! So plans are sky high at the minute... my first job on the list is a Tcut and polish as the red is faded to the metal work! If it doesnt come through I'm thinking about getting the car wrapped in a matt black wrap... Ill get some photos of the busted up ol' girl when the garage has taken every penny I've got off me... Until then heres what we all have nightmares about:

Finally got a middle box and back box... Got back to fit it and realised my full system is all welded together so having to get some welding done to put old system right... Now have rear box and middle box for sale... In good nic, £40 just what i paid for it and ill be happy...

Is this middle box and back box? Everything from cat backwards? In desperate need of this now... For mot, which ive just noticed ran out on sunday! :-O

Hi all, my first car was a starlet gl, i loved it! So ive just bought a starlet s, 98 in red... Downsized from an mr2 tbar... ive always wanted a glanza but ive just gone back to uni so needed a small car... Im looking to make it look and perform a bit better, was thinking of putting some glanza parts on it, bumpers/bonnet/lights etc ive read that the bonnet fits but doesnt line up... How bad does this look? Lol So my question is this... What can i put on that wont look stupid? Cheers in advance!
