It will most likely workout cheaper to get the rot cut out and replaced! Plus you know that car inside and out, So you know there wont be any issues with it.
But make sure you tell them you want it all cut out and replaced not just bogged over
Yeah mate! I'd be doing it my self in the bodyshop with assistance from from people so that shouldn't be an issue. I think the inner panel might have some rot in it as well but I'll only know once the outer has been cut off lol

A long overdue update! Still got the starlet, just. after nearly getting rid of it for an mx5 but i decided against it. Haven't really done much to it apart from fit the JDM Alpha horns, service it again, used some stencils on the tyre side walls and I also acquired some of the rare OEM headlamp protectors from Rory Webb. top seller if anyone wants to buy anything from him . Now there's a bit of a hole come through on the sill and the wheel arch is starting to bubble up, had a feel around and the rot feels as though it goes halfway down the sill. so once the mot is up It will most likely be getting repaired and all welded up and re painted or the other option is finding another clean n/a and swapping all the bits over. but the body on this one is really clean! Here's a few pics...

I might have a spoiler brake light available

So I've got a couple of things done to the starlet this weekend, The panhard rod i bought from ID-Workz turned up so i got that fitted, makes a nice difference and fitment on the rear is better! plus it doesn't take long to do. I also bought a C pillar brace, its for a Civic but with a bit of playing about it fits perfectly with or without rear seat belts I also thought id upgrade the oem parcel shelf speakers with something a bit better, they're halfords specials but they do the job nicely!
In the next little while im going to be fitting the rear anti roll bar and I also got hold of a pair of jdm Mitsuba Alpaha horns that im going to be fitting

Been a while since i updated, so I haven't really done much to the car but it passed it mot again with no advisories! and I have bought a glanza tailgate, spoiler, rear bumper, side skirts and another plate surround, so I trial fitted them on the car and I have also bought another N/A front bumper that I'm going to flush in on the sides, I also managed to get hold of an espace front splitter that I might fit if i decide to fit the glanza rear.
I also bought a whiteline rear anti roll bar that I plan on fitting in the next couple of weeks. I went to fit the adjustable panhard rod and found out that its not from a starlet! so I've ordered up a new whiteline one from id workz that should be getting fitted next weekend when it arrives. so with them mods I'm hoping it handles a bit better!
Whilst I had the back bumper off i decided to cavity wax it all and take the little plastic air covers out of the rear and fill them right up with cavity wax as well to hopefully prevent any further rust! Oh and I also coloured the writing in on the tyres white,
Give me your opinions on the glanza rear...

Don't suppose you have a rear bumper?

As the title says! Not bothered about the colour, must be in good condition and can be posted!
Cheers!

As the title says, I'm either after a glanza or gt turbo. I'm not wanting a really expensive one but the body must have no rust to it. I'm not bothered about dents or scratches really and ideally it must be near to Cumbria or surrounding areas but I will consider anything.
Let me know if you've got anything
Cheers

As the title says, I'm after a c pillar brace for my ep91, if anyone has one for sale let me know!

So over the pas month I've got a few bits done. I fitted a new bosch battery, a Race work developments battery tie down and oil cap and polished up the rocker cover. I also fitted some 10mm spacers on the front to give it a little bit more poke. I also bought a false floor from Bradley Jenkins Jap Performance featured Glanza, so I wrapped it all in suede to match the door cards and got that fitted in and I got some pics of the raptor line on the sills. Pics..

Posted · Edited by Lee-Robo
I'm scrapping my N/A starlet so all the parts have to go as I now have a Celica... Everything is in Great condition and all the parts have been well looked after. I really wouldn't be getting rid of these bits if i was keeping the car or getting another starlet. If you're interested in anything send me a PM and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Item For Sale,Condition & Description:
OEM SR / CD Parcel Shelf with upgraded speakers.
The shelf is in excellent condition and has upgraded FLI speakers in it but still uses the oem Plug. This is a great upgrade for an N/A that doesn't come with one because you can take the rear quarter plastic trim off and find the plug that plugs into the shelf and then you'll have rear speakers! one of the best mods to an N/A imo!

Item For Sale,Condition & Description:
OEM Glanza Front strut brace modified to fit an N/A
The strut brace is in good condition but would probably benefit from a re paint, however it looks good when fitted! when you try to fit these braces to an N/A the fuel filter normally gets in the way stopping you from fitting it. this one has had the metal tube shaped so it misses it and you don't have to mess around with the fuel filter. It has never bothered me and you cant tell once its fitted.

These will have to be wrapped up very well to avoid further damage.
Item For Sale,Condition & Description:
K&N Panel Air filter
The air filter is in used condition but works perfectly fine! I would still be using it if i wasn't scrapping the car. Could benefit from a quick clean or blow off with an airline Which i may do if i get time but other than that its fine.
