  1. Whats the deal with camping pitches? Are we gonna be next to the club stand and our cars? How big a tent can we have per pitch? Can't wait, I want to take a nosy around those Nissan Stagea's, i have a soft spot for them for some reason :0 Oh, and my parents are gonna be going as well, but with Corolla Club UK with their Corolla T-Sport. So we might have very drunk parents gatecrashing D: [getsonhighhorse] And my car is a Soleil, not a Sportif! :0 Get it changed [/getsonhighhorse]
  2. This is mad! The car looks practically sorted, and all for nothing! I want your mates if you got that much stuff off them! :0
  3. Just come back from climbing about a scrapyard in Burnley, but couldn't find one All that effert, and oily new shoes for nowt. Gutted. Craig, did you manage to find any?
  4. I expect better off you, Mr. Badger! Get those earthing cables nice and tidy before I come back from the Goodwood Festival of Speed!
  5. For backboxes, I believe Remus were the suppliers of the TTE boxes that came on the SR, so it may be worth checking if they still make them. I think there was some discussion about it ages ago. If not, then keeping an eye out for someone selling Japanese exhaust backboxes may be your best bet, i think theres one or two for sale in the Parts for Sale section. Idrees is selling a 5Zigen Fireball backbox, but it'll need some metal and a pipe welding to it. I might just be competing against you if anything worthwhile does come up though If you don't have the materials, money or time to rig up a proper cold air feed, or getting a CDA enclosed filter like in the picture above, then yes, a panel filter will be your best bet. It'll also be worth checking into local scrappies. A certain year range of Corolla had the same engine as our trusty N/A's, but a different inlet manifold, the part responsible for regulating air flow into the engine. Find one of these if you can, and buy it for no less than 50 quid. Anything more is a rip-off. When replacing the standard inlet with one of these Corolla inlet manifolds, the 4EFE gets quite a nice boost to performance all the way through the rev range and general top-end grunt. I'm sure someone will come along and tell you which year of Corolla it is (95-99ish?) I'll see if I can find a picture when I come back later today. Hope this helps!
  6. Saw the status on facebook, gutted for you. Still at least it's an excuse to get more goodies in ;P
  7. iamlegend, check out this Celldweller remix of Propane Nightmares: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYNktU3EH2U
  8. Shame, it's fucking stonking up here in Burnley. It's mad, Burnley is like the rain capital of the northwest, only today its boiling. Bring your car up here Friggin' hate rust. Don't actually have any on the body (apart from a tiny tiny spot on the bonnet), but my engine bay is full of it.
  9. This week I've been listening to quite a mix of music. On the dubstep side of things, it's been Distance, and Goth Trad's Cut End With general rock/metal, I've been listening to Fear Factory, Mastodon, with a little Killing Joke and (Damn) This Desert Air. And sandwiched between those two genres, Celldweller
  10. Luke, your avatar is win. REECES, IT'S LIKE CANDY FOR BREAKFAST! (Hoping you get that :/ )

  13. Welcome to the club! Looks like you're a bit tasty on the camera side of things, heres to some awesome shots of the Starlet! What are you getting? A GT Turbo or a Glanza?
  14. Who does that white Mk3 GT belong to? the one with the shopping list? I love it, those wheels are seriously sexy!
  15. Oh, Idrees. That is a sexy, sexy motor, dare I say better than the yellow EP91? Then again, I've always had a soft spot for the 82's. I just want one now What's the insurance like on it bud? If it's alright, I might just have to look around...
  16. I love the Daihatsu! The Starlet looks very good as well Welcome to the site!
  17. I think dub_se7ven used a bit of plastic foam (the kinda stuff you can find in packaging sometimes) wrapped around his to combat boost creep.
  18. I had an S (which got *ahem* wrapped up), and then got a Solida which had leccy windows and central locking. I use them so much now it's unreal, I don't think i could go back to a lower base tbh. Personal preference really. A part of me wants to strip teh Solida, but my mum and the part of me that likes electric windows (mainly the kid part. Y'know how it is. *bzzzz* Wheee!), wants to keep it as it is. EDIT: how the SHIT have I done 800 posts?! :0
  19. Isn't Friday the set-up day? if not, then fuck yes.
  20. I've been up playing Prototype and discovering more and more dubstep artists. I seriously can't get enough. As a metal fan, I am loving Distance, brilliant artist, he has metal undertones in his tracks, it's win.
  21. Fuck yeah Amon Amarth!
  22. Currently listening to 26 Bsslines by Benga
  23. What the? It's like a Kei car that's been turned into some sort of estate, that's mad looking. Get one
  24. No need to go that wide on a Starlet. ZEP/Cruise front fenders are just the right width increase imo
  25. Welcome to UKSC, loving the CS:S headshot avatar
