Nice number plate, bbk boy betta kno lol
Haha yeh, it's sad but my choice was actually slightly swayed by the number plate. I have already tried to sell it to JME on twitter haha.
The aim is to make it quicker than the 535D in the background! I can dream

Have just picked up some grid vs which stick out alot further than before. Having problems with ot rubbing on the flat surface where the bottom of the arch tucks under... Is there a way to get around this?

First of all i'd take the radio out and make sure there is no bare wire that is shorting out on any metal anywhere(i've had this issue). If there is cover it as much as possible so no naked metal is showing with electrical tape. And replace the fuse with the proper 15A one.
Make sure the ignition is not on and the keys arent in the ignition when you replace the fuse

pliers and gloves have been my friend all weekend..so fiddly though... still missing a majority of the skin on my knuckles
-
It looked the right sort of shape so assumed it may have been what i'm after. Ill give the cereal box ago later. It's really hard to fiddle with the actuator etc as i lengthen/shorten it, wait for the car to warm up then go for a blast to see what its boosting at. Find out the boost is too much/too low and everything is too hot to fiddle with again for another hour. doing my head in.

I have a similar issue. Im waiting on a answer to see if the 'wastegate gasket' is what i need too as i have no gasket between intercooler and turbo. I keep shortening the actuator and its making no difference(have less boost than standard now). I thinks its because i haven't got a proper pin an clip set up and have used a nut and bolt allowing slight play between actuator and the little bracket.

fitting new wheels at 11oclock at night, then realising in the morning when you leave for work, that the shocks are shagged/axle out of alignment and one side rubs like a bitch. Making it impossible to drive
-
Just to confirm, is the below gasket for the pipe connecting intercooler and turbo, with the BOV coming off the side?

Got any pics etc? been offered a set for £300

Ollie Haynes Gloucester-South West

after a panhard rod now aswell

Any sites offer finance on Coilovers for the Glanza. I know DriftWorks has 0% over a certain amount on coilies for some cars. Times are hard
-
yeh man gonna try pick up a panhard as that does make sense. Had a similar issue with my old car. If that fails I'll need to save for coilies all round and roll the arch for the time being.
-
I will do mate . Im pretty good at staying away from curbs and normally drive pretty slow haha. I'm that guy that won't squeeze through gaps near a curb, the one you say 'you could get a bus through there mate'to.

Picked up a set of Rota Grid Vs this weekend off another member. Fitted them at 11oclock last night and they rub like crazy on one side. :sad:Think it will need new shocks/coilovers and a adjustable panhard. Also sprayed the TOMS front bumper just can't get the finish i'm looking for. Is it possible to buy Glanza Black paint anywhere online ready mixed?

Picked up some new wheels and they rub something chronic. Think one side is sitting lower due to the shocks being shagged. Ideally want coilovers but may settle for standard shocks. Price depending
-
Can you acty bolt the nut up? Does it not need to pivot within the wastegate?
-
Ive managed to get a nut throught the hole but the bolt keeps popping out the wastegate.. Just use a ciriclip on this?? Or can i put a nut behind the bolt. Dors the actuator pin have to pivot in the wastegate hole
Standard Shocks on Lowering Springs Front...D2 Coilovers Rear
in Chassis & Suspension
Posted
Would it be okay to run standard shocks lowered on the front of a Glanza and D2 Coilovers on the back? It will be for 2-3 weeks tops. Having issues with the rear tyres rubbing because of the shagged shocks. Having the coilovers on will allow me to actually drive the car. Just can't afford front and rears until payday. Would i see any issues if i set them to a similar height to the shocks and springs. Will the differing spring rates pickle everything?
Any advice would be great
