My mk1 was there, funny onion's gt advance, 2 silver glanzas and a black gt mk2/3, That's all I saw.
The kid with the black gt I showed how to get the rest of his air con from behind the glovebox, he said he hasn't owned it long but he's on here.
Yeah I am that guy, thanks again for doing that

I have a knocking noise sounds a bit like a train from anything over 15mph and doesn't really go just gets faster. This happens all the time going straight, corners with the car rolling in neutral the lot. Swapped the driveshafts out on both sides and swapped the gearbox oil and it's got a bit quieter but hasn't gone. I'm thinking maybe diff bearing?

As the title says, must be working order with no damaged cv joints

If you dont have AC then theres no need for that junk up there, especially as it can mess about with the idle and stuff.
No I ripped the AC out the day after I got the car will remove it all Thank you all for your help!
-
Yeah get that shit ripped out, you might / will need to block off the vac ports on the TB though.
Weight saving haha every little helps! I haven't tried blocking it off hopefully it won't start running like shit again!

Isn't the ratchet pointing at the speedo sensor that goes into the gearbox lol?
But in relation to the carbon canister, no you don't need it. But I'd recommend putting a breather filter on the end of the pipe when it's removed so it can vent properly. Or buy a uniflow valve off of ebay.
Erm no it's not :')
it's the tiny little pipe I will put circles on the pictures

im looking at getting a boost controller but prefer the guage type ones, has anyone ever used one of these or know anyone who has? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260975496286?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D260975496286%26_rdc%3D1
D2 electronic boost controller & HDi 60mm dual display boost gauge DR SBG-DR***
I have been using the HDi boost gauge a while now and it's a good bit of kit. As for the boost controller I have one similar from the same seller. Was very easy to install and works well enough for the price.

Just wondering what this is for goes to the carbon cannister I think but it affects my idle. With it fastened on the car idles at about 450rpm with it off it idles perfectly at 800rpm. Just wondering if I will be okay to leave this off?
just if it's not clear I'm pointing to it with the ratchet extension -
I have a Jperformance, it's a pretty big core and works well just a bit of a nightmare trying to mount it
-
Try swapping the pipes round on the boost controller solonide this is what mine sounds like
>http://youtu.be/EWCTIVSfmB0Sounds nice
I will have a fiddle about haven't got much hope though!

No worries bud hopefully that sorts it
Still not sorted done it the proper way and it still doing the same, surely the wastegate shouldn't be open at 4psi then get louder when it suddenly jumps to 9psi?
Really starting to annoy me now!
-
Yes that's the one people use for boost gauge bov I use it for the boot gaue function on my ebc you can just blank it off
Oh well I will update tomorrow hopefully it will be fixed . Thank you for your help!
-
Yes bud then all should be good what controller do you have ?
Sweet any ideas where I can run the green line to or can I just block it off? Thats the line people use for bov's isn't it?
HDi something something :') Have there boost gauge considering the prices it seems very good quality!
-
Looks like it's plumped in wrong to me buddy, iirc both feeds off the wastage go to the ebc valve and you need to t a vacuum pipe into it as well.
Where does the pink pipe go to ?
Yep pink one t-d to the port where the green one is 100%
So basically just get rid of the green on and T the pink the the bottom port at well yes?
Cheers for your help, I'm to all this boost wizardry

EP82 HRF V300 plug and play on TD04?
in Electronics
Posted
I currently have a V300 plug and play on my 82 I was just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to run a TD04 on them with a FPR like the Jam one does. Or would I have to try it and see what happens?
Cheers
