Rear Number plate pic
One handful of stainless jubilee clips for hoses (getting 10x each tomorrow too!). Courtesy of work
-
as above loose negative onto body/engine?
-
Nice! I might see if the spray shop can do Ford Sea Grey, then i'll only have to send the rocker and heat shield off. It's a really nice colour I like it.
I didn't know Blitz did res covers too, I've only looked for TD ones and haven't seen any for sale yet. The hoses make it look a lot better
-
Dont waste any time do ya!? lol
Ill try and rope the mrs into getting that up to the post office tuesday or wednesday mate as i work office hours....but out in the sticks!
Liking the progress man
No probs mate, It's sitting on my drive all this week so may as well get it ready to stick on whilst it's the weekend.
Get that engine cleaned!!
The engine is clean, It's just oxidizing which makes it look nasty. It will look a lot better once the Inlet Mani, Rocker Cover & Exhaust Mani heat-shield are powder coated gunmetal/anthracite!The engine bay & piping on the other hand does need a good clean, but waiting to fit the above after it comes back from the spray shop then taking the car to get the bay steam cleaned. It takes them half the time and half the hassle then me sitting there with a toothbrush and degreaserLooking for a TD res cover and going to re-locate the battery to the boot, then going to get a green filter located where the battery was with some nice welded stainless piping too it -
No once you pay your balance you will be sent your coilovers. He just needed 10 or more deposits to secure the order.

Love the white on white!
On the close up of the renault centre cap, It doesn't look like there are many threads holding your steels on though?

Standard Inlet Manifold removed ready for Corolla Manifold from Flynn

Wanted TD reservoir cover x1
Thanks,
Jamie

You can get the above piping in a elbow too.
It looks like a tight fit, I haven't seen an aftermarket one put on a standard V before. They have always had aftermarket Intercoolers etc and piped from there. (like so http://i.imgur.com/54IFlhsl.jpg)
-
Interparcel is the cheapest and most reliable I use.
-
You can plumb it in between the intercooler and intake mani.
Depends what piping you have from your intercooler. If it's got hosing, you can cut that and insert a piece like this and put your BOV/DV onto that.

Fitted my number plates today. I'm very pleased with the quality and size. They fit perfect. Haven't got any pictures of the rear yet.
I've never seen anyone use a laser line to fit number plates! I'm very OCD hahaha!
Steam Cleaning & shining up the engine bay tomorrow. The power steering pump has a lot of surface rust on it, I'm going to see what a wire bush/wire drill bit will do to it
Also got to fit some winter tyres as well, It's getting wetter and wetter now and my tyres on the front are some budget ones! Not a wise choice when it snows!
Before:
After:
mmmmmmm Zender Turbo 2's 165/50/15 These might go well with the MiesterR Coilovers... Will have to give them a test fit and see what they look like.
-
195/45/15 from factory on the speedlines 50's feel sluggish and not as tight.
-
rad fan switch knackered as above, had this a few times and on different makes of car too.
-
Take it to a tuning workshop and see what they can do for you
You can get a crackle map for evo's so I presume you can for a starlet! Jap is great!
