hello and welcome im prety new myself. If you do use g3 don't use shed loads because if the laquer is on it's way out you could make it worse. Also if the weather is realy hot put a small amount of water to it NOT soapy water and the a bit of red top to finish. If you scrunch a cloth up into a ball and then just wrap another one round it you can get a better grip and finish if done properly

I don't want to tell or show some bits of the car because i want people to see it when it's done but i'll give you imagination a tikkle. light weight and good looking exterior maybe a bit more power and handaling. And an even crazyer exgaust system. for were i want it, it has to come into the car. It's going to looks and sound awsome i'll make sure of it. Thats all i can give away, for now.

I'v finally gone hospital, thanks to bourky taking me. I have'nt broke anything so i can still work on my starlet, yay. Now that the poo punto is gone i can spend more time and money on project starburst. I don't have any new pictures yet but i will soon, i think bourky has some pictures if any body wants to have a ganders. So just an up date on the starlet it's totaly stripped out, I've put in a shift light and a gauge but i can't tell you wat it is, it's a secret. the body work is beeing smoothed and eventually the new body parts will been put on. Its got 16 inch toro wheels and crome brake

Not really how i wanted to spend the day with the fantastic weather we got but these things happen. I was driving along a straight, wide country road near my village when all of a sudden a horse suddenly bolted next to the road and it ran into my path. I swerved as quick as i could towards the curb but the horse went into my drivers side door causing my window to smash and i think i may have broke my arm. The dent in the side of my Punto is very bad and it may be written off due to the roof being pushed over but im not sure yet. The police came and questioned me there but i was in the clea

I've got a lot of catching up to do to all you lot thats why im moving so fast. For the window you can mask round the glass but make sure it doesn't touch the body. Use a pencil to push it right under the window and cut any excess tape off. Then prime and paint it so it sticks properly. If you get any on the glass leave it for a few days before using thinners to get it off and it will come off fine. The car is going track car/daily drive. Like i said earlier i was busy again today. I've stripped down all the front like the headlights, bumper, bonnet and radiator. I've also started stripping the engine down so its easier to take it out as im getting a full respray on the car. As usual Me an Bourkey were restricted to what we could do on the Starlets as it was pissin it down 90% of the day. But we did well anyway. We have now cleared up Bourkeys garage of all the bits of crap, which took two full loads of my Punto to get rid of, so there is space for my Starburst. Also we have nick named his garage Penelope Pit Stop.

Thanks for the comments guys, After a busy week away for work i have come back and got straight back on my Starburst. I've been busy stripping even more stuff from the car. The dashboard and all the stuff behind it like heaters and crap have all gone now. I filled the back of my punto with tons more crap to take to the scrappy and im about to fill it up again. The boot lid is now on and looking great. I just need to flat it down and prime it once more and its done. There is also a sticker ive just noticed ive gotta peel off it aswell. Oh yeah if anyone want my old boot its in tip top c

Really loud!!!!!!! Like i said im just getting ideas at the moment. The old full system has gone on Bourkeys as his cat converter was a bit iffy. He still has his cool back box though.

I think i took the stripping out to the mental level. I told Bourkey and our mate to strip the car while i did a few other bits and an hour and a half later it was like this. There was tons of animal food in every nook and cranney but they managed to sort the job out and get rid of it all. We are also thinking of making a custom dash to get rid of the big heavy plastic one. I think im getting rid of the heaters aswell. Im not sure though because are weather isn't the warmest in the world. I think the next purchase will be the Glanza front end as im love the front end of a Glanza but i didn't

UPDATE!!!!! I now have the Starlet aka Starburst Me Bourke and our mate Matt went down to Ipswich to pick it up at 5am on Satuday morning. I was nakered as you can see... It took us four hours to there and we got a little bored and saw this... The shite tom tom got us lost several times so we had to meet the guy who owned it to take us to his farm. Yes i said farm. After we picked it up we filled up and took the first piccy of it... And then we began the long journey back not forgetting taking a couple of snaps on the back. Right, This weekend i'll have a major part of my project. The actual car itself. Here are some pics of the ebay add It clearly needs some work i know. When i pick it up this weekend im hopefully gonna get to Bourkey's by midday and im gonna start on the car as soon as i can. It will be stored as Bourkey's as he has a lot of space but i don't. im keeping my Punto as my daily driver until the Starlet is roadworthy enough though but i don't like it that much after driving his SR. I've gotta catch up with Bourkey as he is quite ahead of me but i should be close by the end of Saturday. B

Bourkey did the bidding on it as im not any good at bidding. He was getting sick of looking aswell as we kept losing cars by really small amounts on there. Doesn't matter now. Thanks for the comments. ;) I've been doing more stuff today aswell. I've started on the doors as im taking the locks and handles off them. I didn't get any pics as i've not completely finished them yet. I have finished stripping down the strut brace and repainting it matt black. Before After I will have finished the doors by the end of this week and they will be ready for painting. Obviously i will have to wait until i get a Starlet before painting as i don't know what colour they are gonna be yet.

I've done a few other small bits aswell but i'll get some more pics up at the end of today as im gonna be working on them today. Bourkey has been telling me to get started on them even though i haven't got a Starlet so when i get one they can be painted and put straight on.
