  1. I've done the bypass for now but I don't think I want to drive around for too long without warmth! I've contacted tuning developments and they have one for me. I'm just hoping it'll be in good condition but I'll ask them if I can return it if it doesn't work. How long did it take to get the dash out? I'm thinking I'm gonna need a whole day :/
  2. The passenger side footwell is soaked so we got the RAC out and they said the heater core is leaking. I've researched and it seem like this may be the answer. Does anyone have a guide as to how to replace the heater matrix? I.e. taking out the dash. Thanks guys
  3. Ill give it a go! They hard to change?
  4. It was while driving normally with very little boost.
  5. Hello all! It has been roughly 30 mins now I've been on the phone tying calm down my girlfriend who had broken down in her glanza v! I was wondering if someone could throw some suggestions at me as to what the problem is? In the 3-4 months we have owned the car we have not had any type of overheating problem except the coolant problem we know about where as (I think) coolant may be leaking into the heater matrix causing it to fog up the windscreen every time the heat is applied! As far as the engine temperature goes the other day we noticed that the car had low oil & coolant. We
  6. Sorry! I forgot to say that I have an EP91. I've found the guide for removing it on an EP82 - does anyone know how similar they are?
  7. Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone might be able to link to me a guide or explain to me how to take the dash out in order to access the heater matrix? I need to replace it as it looks like it's leaking and causing my car to fog up no matter what setting I have the blower on. Does anyone know if I should replace anything else whilst the dash is off? It's a pain in the ass but I need to get it sorted before it gets much colder :/ Thanks in advance guys!!
  8. Hey guys, The warm air from my heater in my Glanza V tends to fog up the windscreen no matter what the weather is outside, and even after then it takes ages to clear! Do any of you guys know what the problem is? We've heard it could be the cabin filter or something to do with the air con - which has been removed anyway! If you could help I'd be forever thankful as I kinda need warmth now it's getting colder! Thank you in advance!!
  9. I don't think it'd be the child lock because surely that would stop the window going down rather than up? I'll double check though just in case! I guess checking the wiring is going to be the only way, but then again, is the wiring for it going down separate to the wiring for putting it up? Thank you guys!
  10. Hey, The other day we were on a road trip and the switch which controls the electric windows stopped working to put the window up on the passenger side. However, you can still put the window up using the driver's side switch. Has anyone else had this problem? I'd imagine it's something to do with the connection in the switch, but how do I go about fixing this? Thanks in advance
  11. Hey guys can I just confirm something? A chap on toyotagtturbo forum says "If the EBC was functioning, hose #3 would go to port #2 and hose #4 would go to port #1." Is this correct before I start pulling things apart? Many thanks.
  12. Are the bulbs for the dials the largest ones in the centre of the circuit board? I thought these might be for the needles, but they seem okay. The needles do light up, and so do all of the other lights pretty much - just the actual lighting up of the dials that doesn't work! I presume the bulbs around the outside are for fuel light/airbag light/etc? Thank you all for your help so far! Alice
  13. Thanks everyone. I'll take a look when I get some time and get back to you!
  14. Right, I took everything apart in the dash and all the bulbs seem to be okay. Shall I just try replacing them anyway? Or there was one little black plug that wasn't connected to anything which I've taken a photo of - is this for the lights for the dials? Sorry, I'll have to upload pics later as I don't have them at the moment. Thanks for all of your help so far
  15. The Greddy (inside the car bit) lights up and does "stuff" when the ignition is turned on so I presume it still works... the previous owner said they changed it because it was running "funny". A few days later I found out from someone on this forum that they knew the car and that it had been running on max boost for a little while :/ I would imagine they were getting the fuel cut and didnt know what the hell it was.... this is one theory anyway....
  16. Im not sure quite what the previous owner was thinking but I have an electronic Greddy boost controller in my 1996 Glanza V and a manual one which is hooked up and working :/ For some reason the Greddy is unused and has been replaced by what looks like a cheapy ebay one? First question is, is there any reason why anyone would do this and second question is what do I plug into where to get the EBC working again. Below I have provided some numbered pictures... if someone could tell me what plugs into where I would be most grateful because I have close to zero knowledge on turbos. Obvious
  17. Thank you. I'll take a look today and get back to you!
  18. Hi guys, Now I know everyone hates electrics but these two problems of mine are those really irritating ones that I need to fix. 1. Fault number one is that, when driving the car in the dark for the first time we noticed that the light in behind the dials does not illuminate when the head lights are on... the needles light up so there is a tiny bit of light but no lightest dials... any ideas? Is it just bulbs in behind there or is it LED's on a circuit board? 2. The interior light does not illuminate when trying to switch it manually or opening the door. Can anyone help me with how t
  19. Hello all, Owned my Glanza for about a month and have decided to treat him to some new shoes! what do you guys think? Anyone know if Glanza's have problems if too low? Since I have swapped my 15's with a 50 profile tyre to 16's with a 45 profile tyre it appears that I have a larger arch gap which looks a little silly, I'm thinking about winding the coilovers down a few clicks - thoughts? Also just had my fog lights tinted blue yesterday! I like the look of the yellow but wanted to be a little different and haven't seen many blue tinted fogs. Thanks for looking Before
  20. Thank you! Most websites offer two kinds whereas yours offers just the one so I just wanted to make sure it's the one I need, which I think it must be if it has the ABS ring.
  21. Thank you again Aaron Id workz did you get my message regarding the splines? Is the CV joint on your website 23/30? Thanks everyone
  22. Thank you Just checked the website and there's a CV joint but the number of spines is not listed, but I've messaged him to check it's 23/30 which I'm pretty sure is the one I need. Thanks again
  23. Hiya, I'm looking for a driver's side CV joint 23/30 splines with the ABS ring for my 1996 EP91. Camskill have said that they cannot supply one (not sure why) and most other places seem to be sold out! The rest are asking for over twice as much as Camskill! Any ideas where I can get one? Preferably new and not used, unless it's known to be in good condition from a breaking Glanza or something..... Thank you!
  24. That's brilliant, thank you guys! Gonna go and see a guy at the weekend and hopefully get it sorted
