got an engine that needs fitting, my one is to put it bluntly shafted. i live in york but can travel and my mechanic friend has just started a new job and basically works my days off vice versa and i really dont want to pay the huge garage bill, i was wondering if anyone local or up this way knows what there doing ? i will help as much as possible and obviously pay just really fed up and want it done now :/

instead of pointing the finger, when adam comes on talk to him, get some screenshots, statements, proof of him transferring the money, ask other people on facebook who have been scammed if that is the same bank account/name, it sounds like a shit load of money has gone including people from overseas! something this big and publicised usually catches someones attention eventually down the line for example neck nomination has gone viral due to social networking youtube etc. you cannot go wild with a member without first having the proof. did you not think to pay by credit card or an online transfer with protection? because fuck me if i was handing 5k over to someones bank id attach a nuke bomb to it incase shit went down which it clearly has im not digging at you but your 36 you should be much more experienced and wiser to come up with solutions yourself this forum is good its a good community and as said above if you calm down and go about it a different way people will stick together and help you out instead of saying "shit happens it werent my money sorry dude and leave it" sleep it off if you can get back online when your heads fresh talk to adam and start a new thread with proof pictures more info if turbotobz is nice enough and we can all come up with a solution and for the record police wont do jack shit for you :/ im sorry for you i truly am but just think about it after the red mist has decended buddy

In need of an engine badly, what does the crack do? Would it expand or anything I just need a fully working engine to drop into mine as compressions gone etc

Don't mind if it's with ancillaries just need to replace mine as cylinder 4 is low on compression and it's not head gasket, can't afford to go forged or anything, low mileage preferably and I'm on a tight budget Let me know please cheers

i was thinking head gasket myself and going athena so its stronger, have a friend who will do it cheap so thats no problem but the heaters still work spot on it still boosts spools up just bogs down further up the rev range ( before i knew about the problem by the way ) is it worth doing headgasket etc or do i just buy another engine :/ ?

thats what im hoping, i might have just caught it in time, still drives fine just not as much power but obviously im going no where near boost and literally using it 2 miles a day to work, is there a stronger head gasket i could use and what else would i need to do to make sure its healthy etc?

never had these problems, what are my options? forged is out the equation i cant afford that yet, prices etc because im stuffed lol bad times

compression tested, cylinders 123 fine 4 ran 75 and turbos on its way out well and truly gutted:/
