Loving this car what wheels are they absolutely stunning

@patman I'm thinking of taking a drive down south sometime soon, so would be good to meet some fellow starlet owners. Haven't really seen any from around here although possibly a moderator on here is from near me? Brighton isn't far from crawley though and haven't been to the beach in many years. Yes mate can meet up for sure there's a good few from sussex on here so your not alone

Won't be the turbo deffo actuator mate if you had an adjustable one your be sorted

Ok when I took mine to be dyno mate he adjusted the actuator on mine and put a split t-piece in the vacuum pipe thingy from the actuator to the turbo so the third bit on the t-piece is just a breather bit I take it

I had this problem mate actuator needs shortening as it's set up too long and the only thing I could think of was the wastegate is not shut properly therefore boost came in 4-5k revs so actuator needs setting up properly mate hope this makes sense

I got a brand new 255 one mate when I say new it was put on but taken off again within 10 mins as that's when I noticed the one I had on was a walbro one 😄

I have this problem too but it's only for about a second when started up from cold a loud rattle when first started then it goes strange if you ask me, also when I pull off very slowly there's a rattle coming from somewhere in the engine feels like the exhaust when pulling away but that seems firmly solid and tight when looked? I use 5w 40 fully synth should I be using different? This is on a ep82

Liam_D on here mate builds turbos his done a good few from people on here all with fantastic feedback, his doing mine aswell I would rather pay that little extra and have a next to new turbo then buying second hand ones which I had, gone through 2 now and they don't last at all but that's my opinion through experience I've had.

I find the 40mm on mine are a bloody nightmare in the streets of my town either to many bumps or time for some new springs

As title says please after "ANOTHER" turbo, second turbo now the seals have gone or are going as blowing a cloud of smoke out on boost, I'm after a decent no smoke or play in shaft or even a reconditioned one as I can't keep buying these second hand ones which keep going, as long as it's perfect and fits the ct9 set up them I will buy it, or better still anyone know someone good price who rebuilds turbos? Sorry for the rant guys my own fault really buying second hand turbos. Thanks Pat

Thought I would ask here to see if anyone's got any laying about am after some mesh, to go on the front bumper (to protect the intercooler) and am gonna put some in the bonnet scoop too, been looking on eBay seems quite expensive as seems I need 40" by 10" for the bumper and 10" by 2" for the scoop Thanks Pat

Brought a couple of items of Daniel and he only went a put in some extra freebies what a fantastic bloke the parts are spot on and he didn't rip me off at all infact I am the one who got the best deal thankyou so much mate would certainly buy of him again plus the items were well wrapped in a box so nothing could get damaged.
