Are these good enough for the ep82 GT turbo? Running around 200bhp? Thanks Pat -
Ok guys what I will do give me a bit of time as my cars stores in a unit at the moment will take a pic of how it is on the turbo and take it from there 👍

Yeah I did think tha too dean not sure how cheap you can get a MBC for which will do the trick as the EBC are to much money at the moment

I think this is an absolute fantastic topic and thanks Colin for sharing this topic, this is well in price range now so I will certainly look into this soon on a more positive note the dealer on eBay isn't far from where I live at all so may even take a trip up there 😄 -
It's a t-piece alright something tells me he was setting it up like a MBC maybe?
-
Ok so to get this right the pipe going from the actuator to the turbo should just be one pipe not split with a t-piece? Thinking about it he did say at the time my actuator is very weak as is on its way out, Gonna put my refurb turbo on soon and that will have a hks actuator going with it. Strange though as this place I went to called minicraft have 500bhp minis with nos so yes seems strange why he did this although with the t-piece in the pipe the car was boosting well
-
When I got mine dyno'd the bloke cut the vaccum pipe from the actuator to the turbo and put a T-piece in it so I have one leg on the T-piece just venting like a breather not sure why he did do this

Sorry its taken so long to get the pictures up of my Turbo refurbish all thanks to Liam_D If I'm honest like any used turbo on cars mine had certainly seen better days, after sending messages back and forth with Liam I decided to go for it, Thinking its got to be sent of to Midland Turbo half way up the country I thought ok that will be a couple of weeks gone before I see it back not that I minded at all, How wrong was I, An old tired looking Turbo which needed a rebuild got collected from me on the Monday, come Wednesday afternoon I get a phone call, saying your turbo is ready for delivery and onced payment was made will be with you on Thursday afternoon, WTFFFFFFFF now that is 1st class speedy service at its best, Come Thursday I got home from work to find the box with the turbo in, after opening the box and pulling out the turbo from the pics below it says it all, I was gob smacked at how brand new it looked not only do I think I got bargain of the century on Price but I still cant believe the quick turn around and how genuine Liam_D is, 100% Communication at all times and for the price I payed what needed done I feel I have ripped him off, Thanks so much mate sorry its took a month to load pics up but this is definitely the place to go to if you want your turbo rebuild to the this sort of standard for a fantastic price and quick service. Pat

Too late mate everything's stripped out now ready for a full engine rebuilt 😄
-
That's ok mate 👍

I would personally if you can get it home drain the oil check for metal bits in the oil or take the sump off and check for metal bits in the bottom of the sump, not good if this is the case bearings are fooked I know this hence why mine is going through a full engine rebuild as we speak or course turned out my oil pump was shot, on the bad side it's abit of money to spend on the plus side I will have a full engine rebuild by the end of it as I have brought everything 😁
