Hi bud, the inlet & TB have sold, injectors, ECU and coilpack are all still here but youre gonna need the engine loom to run the ECU/coil setup.
I can take it all out at the weekend.
Just make me a good offer mate and we'll work out a price
I'll need to check the exhaust mani aswell, duno if its different or not.
Ok bud i have a glanza mani on at the mo so will be ok for now, will read up on what is needed to convert and then calculate weather i can be arsed as i'm toying with getting a 5efe or 5afe or 5efhe.
will keep in touch.
Cheers

hi bud what kind of price you looking for the inlet,tb,coil pack, injectors and ecu?
Also has this one got the 4-2-1(like the corrola one)?
Cheers

Hmmm, so tempted by these as have always wanted itb's, will have a think and do some calculations.
So what would be the benefits of fitting this to a 4efe?
Cheers

hey bud i am in the middle of converting to single din as the jdm unit's cd and tape were gone and the radio still on tokyo bands.
Do you have the mounting cage and are you willing to swap trade for the double din that i have(the plates that allow you to attach)
Cheers

The reason it was not made for the 4 is there has always been 2 editions per console(rigid little bugger's the japanese)
I did not like the way gt5 felt compared to forza and my ps3 went shortly after but may get another if gt6 turns out to be any good.
The main thing that put me off was the nurburgring was so far removed from previous editions that it just felt wrong so hope they have sorted the physics engine to suit, and i could never get that stupid Elise around the topgear test track challenge.

Want to replace my original double din as the cd player does not function, is it the same as most a couple of bits of metal coathanger to release the side locks, as it came without any pins.
Cheers

Will have them if so

after a nice sounding back box for my sr as it just has the standard starlet box at mo and sounds very quiet, anything between 2-3", any bike cans fit???

As title, have a decent sr and want some more power, the revs pretty much drop off at 5800, can i fit the glanza cam springs and get it revving to 7800 or more, it is pretty much the same engine so in theory should be possible, other option is drive this engine into the ground and replace with a 4age, 1.8 vvti(140-190-g6-6speed) or supercharging but might be a hand full without power steering.
Has anyone tried charging these, the power steering can't be that much of an issue can it?, i have seen polo's with 200hp plus(mk3g40) without power steering, even my old golf gti mk2 had no ps, so to charge or rev, pls help

There is no off the market manifold back exhaust for n/a's you would need to get a full system made.
The stock exhaust is in 3 parts
Manifold
Downpipe, cat, midbox all the way to the axle
Backbox
There's very few options for aftermarket manifold aswell obx and hotshots are about the only 2
i bet they are really freaking expensive, shit i used to own vw polo's and to buy parts and mods for them is cheap as chips, thought it may be the same as the starlet is a small car but no, i nearly fell over when looking at a set of coillies, £650 starting point.
Will have to get a system made up then, cheers

Hey peeps, thinking of getting shot of the crappy exhaust(will keep for mot time), want something just to bolt on to the standard mani with a view to replacing that in the future.
Also would this mess with the ecu/oxygen sensor?
Mid range price or even a good second hand, may just see what powerflow(or whatever equivalent that is nearby) for a stainless with a cat delete, anyone done this before?
Cheers

hi bud will this fit/improve my sr as it has no roll bars and do not know if there will be a benefit?
Andy
-
A seat, Recaro or Bride seat helps handling a lot as you stay in one fixed position but if you have standard seats and your going fast around a bend your bum will be up against the window lol
Lol, have had that many times before, i already have braces up front and rear but thinking the best will be decent tyres and f/r arbs for now as it has the tte lowering springs, may go for factory bushes for now unless there are some that will make a difference and get some ferrodos ds2500 pads and braided hoses then move on to the spring/coillie setup.
Thanks for all the reply's and feel free to comment further.

forgot to mention if the sr has anti roll bars? and what are the options, is it a multi link setup at the back or just a rear beam?
Andy
-
As title says, thinking poly-bushes and better springs and shocks or collies if not much more, have strut braces, engine brace maybe, gearbox mounts, lsd gearbox if funds permit(dreaming), braided hoses and some fast road pads and better fuild.
What would you guys say is the best budget way to get an sr up to a good handling standard(tracking it maybe for fun but mostly uk roads)

these good for starlet sr???

remove p/s pump and try to shoehorn a charger in there, should work with standard 4efe, much like the vw g40, they are massively tuneable, but the 4efe is nearly there and can handle a bolt on turbo kit with great gains so my q is will a charger offer the same(not the same in boost terms as turbo) but is it still a viable option, eaton m45 for example?
Andy
-
can these be removed?, mine is so light so am thinking ditch the pump and put a manual rack in.
Hs anyone done this, obvious adv is less drag on engine(unless i can squeeze an eaton m45 in there).
Cheers

My fuel economy is a bit shit around town but think it is down to glanza mani as i get no real power till 4250-4500 and then goes nuts till the limiter(only if you drive like me,city driving so plenty of 123 gears, much better on a long run with 300 miles or more per tank, have a 1998 sr so should be good comparison.
