Grit has been down for two nights in my area( even though we haven't had any frost or ice) used the gt for about hour and a half and 3 new small dents on passenger side already from all the shite on the roads especially after spending 4 hours on her with a clay bar Saturday absolutely fuming :angry2:


  2. I know really fancy it and i'v been looking for days can't find one surely someone has got one on here I would like to see one fitted before shelling out that sort of money on a bonnet.

I fitted adjustable shocks with lowering springs and they felt nice and stable but last week I started hearing tyre rubbing on the rear drivers side and now when I go over any real bump its ripping chunks from the outer wall took them off had a look and they seem to be fine no leaking or bumping, the springs feel fine too it was only dropped 40 mil still plenty of clearance no play in the wheel bearing and the underneath is all good no movement anyone experienced this or got any ideas?

  4. you would have to take the cv joint off to see which one you need mine is a 1995 ep82 and its 23/30 do have a check before buying though mate that's how I got stuck with the part


  5. I know there have been loads of posts about this already people but im going there again sorry . I am new to turbocharged engines where is the best place to start work on the 4efte its standard except exhaust, de-cat, manifold im not after massive power as its the automatic and I don't want to push it too far I've given her a good service want a bit more grunt now what is my best next step thanks.


  6. Just wondered if anyone has any experience with the automatic box on the ep82 and what it can comfortably cope with I don't want to convert it as it would be easier to buy a manual but is there any point with engine mods if not I will put effort into making it show worthy as the body is tidy


  7. What's happening people?. New member here gone awol from the blue oval scene. I recently bought a silver ep82 with the automatic box it is quite a clean example with 116/000 on the clock. I was just wondering if anyone reckons the auto is worth tuning? it is more or less standard from what I can see except full powerflow system, decat and miscellaneous dump valve. I have never owned a Japanese car before but a gave it a oil, filter and plug change yesterday and found the engine quite easy to work on I will get some pics up as soon as I work out how to do it i'm not very computer savvy any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated thanks. James
