Alright giuys aint been on in a while, wrking 60 odd hours a week, 6 days a week at the moment and was away to tenerife for almost 2 weeks there so not been around hope everyone is sound. just wondering if anyone can recommend a good FMIC that will fit a glanza 96 with the 96 front bumper? I dont want to chop the bumper up as i cant be bothered with the roughness it leaves and cant afford to get it all blended and plastic welded.

Was looking at those HDI intercoolers they look the nuts but on the 96 bumper it doesnt fit without chopping

Any ideas guys? Also does anyone know where i could get an ARC top mount ?

As some of you know i wrote my GT off a good few months ago and then went and bought a 96 glanza V in silver. I have pics in pic of the month and stuff like that and many of you have seen my car in members cars section. I am seriously considering a swap for another GT either if its a mint GT with decent mods then a straight swap but if the GT is lesser value then i'll be wanting the GT and some cash to make up for the difference. My glanza has a few extras on it like tein coilovers, slipstreams, super drager system, jam actuator, blitz induction kit etc.

Anyone looking for a swap and can u post up pics and the details etc of the GT...

P.S i like silver quadlamp GT's, the GT must be a quadlamp and be a genuine one, not a quadlamp conversion.

it can be an indication if a faulty map sensor.

have you got an FCD fitted?

does it run fine or is it raelly grumpy when off boost?

yeah i have a jam FCD installed but the car seems to be running the same as before so i dont know whats wrong. If its a faulty map sensor how much are they to replace and how hard is it to fix it?

get the car in same angle with the new plate on and jus print screen the new plate onto that pic if u knw wat i mean?

Dotn have a clue how thats all dne. Surely someone can open this in photoshop, colour in the number plate, and then type the reg in etc.

If you can transform one car into another in photoshop then its defo possible to do this lol

Today i noticed that the three boost lights in the instrument cluster are constantly on and they shoudlnt be. I have a blitz gauge and its showing my boost levels so i dont need the lights anyway but i want to know why all three are lit up even when i'm in vacuum and not boosting!

Any ideas?

U just wire it into the ecu buddy. There is one wire which is for the revs and u just splice into it...unsure which wire it is!

monty... take them out... cut a square out where the bulb sits put celotape over the hole fire them back on then your jammin cus they will still be protected... by the way mines aint smoked :S up ye!

I was wanting my number plate to be lit up more at night as i think it makes the car look much better from behind. The bulbs turned out to be 501 so i bought LED wedges for it and there quite bright but the brightness isnt getting through to the number plate as the lense is fucking all frosted...Where can i get clear lens for the glanza then so all the brightness of the LED's can get through to the number plate?

Right hybrid is a good choice to begin with as you dont need to alter the standard downpipe and manifold. You should look into getting an uprated manifold though as running high boost will put more heat through it and you dont want to melt the 3rd piston!

With a hybrid on a non forged engine 1.1 bar is a safe limit i would say. Any higher and your going to be looking at forging it.

Keep your front mount you'll defo need it, anything above .85 bar on the standard top mount is doing more bad than good. Some people would even say it does more bad than good at lower boost levels than .85bar.

Look at Enzo's hybrids, decent price and good quality and rated to 1.2bar with warranty but will take more boost but warranty will become void.

Going to buy a silver sparco harness. Should i get bolt in harness or clip in harness for my 96 glanza? Is clip on the one you gotta have the bolt with the "o" ring on the end of it? I just want to put it in straight away without having to get stuff to install it.

Is there 4 bolting point for the harness in the glanza like 2 in the front and 2 in the rear?

I have a light out on my bootlid right now so only have one and it is rather dull. What i want is the both lights to be really bright so u can really notice the number plates. Where can i get bright bulbs for it or how do i make it really bright? Anyone done it?

I thought i would stick this up as i was unaware of the fact until today when i was doing a bit of research and came across BP ultimate unleaded 102! Is this not the same as Japan's fuel? I hate BP as a company as they always charge up to 10p more per litre so i stick to Morrisons and Shell. I am going to start ditching the crappy 95 RON fuel now as i have a job so which is the best to go with?

Shell V-Power has a RON of 99

BP Ultimate unleaded has a RON of 97

Standard unleaded has a RON of 95

Tesco Super Unleaded has a RON of 99

Anyone tried this BP 102 RON fuel and noticed any difference?

I used to have a starlet GT and i had a spare CV joint which has 23/30 splines on it. My GT didnt have ABS also.

I now have a Glanza EP91 and it needs a CV joint badly, now would the cv joint i had for the GT fit onto my Glanza which has ABS or are they different cv joints.

Now if i dont use this CV joint the i will be selling it on for about £50 delivered so if you need one dont hesitate to ask for it.

dont moan ya cunt, that mad wummin pulled out in front of me and WROTE ma car off. Lost thousands in the process even though the insurance only paid £2400 i bought the car for twice as much, and spent about £3000 modding it.
