Hi there dude, i wrote a review on my GT, rather similar to a glanza. Link Below:
-
I would like a reverse scoop, carbon fibre if you can source it? Also how do you fit them, is it a case of unbolting some bolts, removing, and repating the process backwards when fittin the new item?
-
Well i got a zep decat and got it fitted by a mate who works in a local tyre and exhaust garage. He fitted my decat, and HKS drager system for £60. Well worth it IMO, if it goes wrong take it back and whoever done it will fix it. I think its a good few hours of time to do it mind you, i think you need certain sockets as there not standard 12mm or 14mm bolts if you know what i mean, there like Torx nuts so you would need Torx sockets.
Save yourself hassle and time, pay £60 and let someone else do it for you. Or in your case it may just be for £40 or £50 since you aint getting an exhaust fitted (,")
You'll notice a nice power increase with the decat bro, i did. Aids mid-top end, and gasses flowing more freely. Invest in a decent exhaust system if you dont already have one.
Also do you have an adjustable actuator such as the HKS item? I needed it as i was using the stock actuator after i fitted me Zorst and decat. Boosting to 0.6bar then hitting 3.5k and it just rose till it hit fuel cut. pain in the nuts man.
If you do have an actuator fitted you'll probably need to re-adjust it to suit your new power increase (,")
Good Luck mate, i'm sure if you get stuck some tech heads on here will help you out.

Where did you take it too the first time?
A E coachworks in stevenson
Honestly i think they let a fuckin 1st day apprentice on it with a jackhammer!
-
I fitted my front mount intercooler etc so i was wanting to get the slats cut out of the bumper to show the cooler and allow better air flow. Took it to a local coachworks to do it, i told the guy i want the slats cut out, holes filled, sanded, primed, and sprayed. I showed him where i wanted the new plate put as well.
I go to pick it up, and holy fuck. All they had done was hacksaw the bastard thing. Tatty as fuck, left me more scrapes on it than it had when it went in. Grubby oily marks all over my bumper and holes everywhere. The slats were cut all dodgy and not straight, and my number plate was screwed into the slats that were left jutting out like a gypsys teeth instead of the bumper.
I didn't pay and left with my car, went to another coachworks. The guy their told me he is gonna sand the bumper, fill in the holes, prime it, and respray the whole bumper.
So a little pissed off. I spend hundreds upon hundreds in the improvement and maintanence of my pride and joy and these fucks just ruin it. So the guy will have it next wednesday and thursday and i'll get it back on Friday!

I am looking into getting a set of these. Are the ones on ebay bangers as in cheap crap that doesnt give the same performance as £200 items or is there lots of fluctuation of pricesin the market of HID kits?
now what i really need to know is which is the best peforming and looking out of the 6000k kits and the 8000k kits?
6000 crisp white light with delicate to moderate blue tint
8000K blue light
This is taken from an HID wesbite:
"If your after the coolest looking Xenons with amazing performance then 6000K is our recommendation."
"Please remember that the blue tint is not produced by the bulb, but by the reflector/projector lense. Refraction spilt the colour of the light like a Prism if you remember that experiment from Physics. 8000K bulbs or higher are not the answer - they produce less light and you are more likely to be noticed by the Police."
-
I am hoping to get HID lights soon, see as i have a quadlight and like 4 lights at the front how does this kit work?
I take it you only put the bulbs in the one side of the lights. Like theres 2 holes for bulbs and the the hole closest to the side of the car is the ones you replace?
Also which is better 6000K which is the Diamond white light or the 8000K which is blue tint/ diamond white
Which looks and performs best?

why are galnzas more expensive?
theres nothing between is there as in same engine, 0-60 etc
got money ready for glanza but obvs gt bein cheaper could mean money for exhaust etc
also is wrc sales any good?
lovin the trd white one but not got that much lol
also are glanzas quick.
as in could they beat stock mr2 turbo as i've looked at them?
cheers craig
As said there nippy for what they are, GT is faster because it is lighter. Also the seats in a GT are nicer looking, more sporty. But the decision of which car shouldnt be based on seats but was just a bit of info.
GT has more old school shape where as the glanza is more modern and round. Whatever you like really, some think glanza is nicer some think GT. It really is preference. There both amazing cars to be honest and both have their own appeal.

Check the parts for sale section dude. Dane is selling them at a good price
He's meaning HID headlight kits, the intercooler is HDI!
You can get decent philips ones off of ebay and a good price too

Just bought one of these so will let you guys know how it goes in fitting and performance. Going to go to B&Q and buy some decent jubilee clips for it, and get some mesh. Also i need to get something to hold the number plate on the bumper!

i had mine done in a bodyshop and had vertical slats on the bottom cut and smoothed out aswell
Looks so much better when its a tidy job in my opinion
So you got all the slats cut out, got the holes filled in, sanded, and resprayed? How much did it cost. I am thinking of taking my bumper to the bodyshop to get them to remove all the slats, fill in any holes with filler, smooth it down, and respray the bits that need resprayed!
Anyone have a rough estimate of how much that will cost?
-
Looks mint mate, never seen a set of them on a GT or Glanza (,")

i dont know of one other than the one you mentioned and that aint too good. Basically all your doing is wiring the positive and negative wires of the boost gauge into either your sidelights or stereo, and running a length of vacuum pipe from the cab to a vacuum line in the engine bay. I had to run my hosing through the ECU space as the gromit in the firewall was clogged up with wires from the alarm and immobiliser. I couldnt find a good power source so my auto electrician done it for £10 and put all my wires etc in a nice cover so it was all tidy!

And microsoft built the 360 and own it. Xbox live is a network, microsoft know everything about networks etc, they practically built them. Sony dont own their network probably and have to pay another company to run their servers etc.
-
Guys save yourself the heartache of missing the best online community and games. Come and join the xbox360 community. Xbox live is far superior to Sony's online experience. Less problems, far more reliable and more gamers.
Been running for 5 years or so! Plus theres already a UKSC establishment on xbox live ( Ecksjay, StarletRick, and Me lol)
I rape their arses on COD4 but they wont admit it, but they know i am the king!

PS3 has its good points but xbox live is just so much better. Should try it out guys. Mind you that white PS3 looks the dawgs Danglies!

Minted mate, being so light its gonna go like a rocket!

I have a WEPR cooler fitted and I wouldnt change it for any other cooler.
It fits nice and snug, the joiners are great, the pipes are equally as great and I havent had any problems with it.
My 2p.
There a bit high priced for what it is. Its like £350, will be the same core as others except a little smaller, has decent piping thats probs bout it. For another £100 you could get your hands on a greddy if you know where to look and know the right people.

Why not be original and get an apexi core from a supra or something and make up the mounts? that would look bad ass and would cool more air than your car could ever possibly flow
but where do i get piping from mate? Making sure it will fit etc. How much do them intercoolers cost?
-
Agreed, the Greddy is best
You cant get a greddy for an EP82 though!

I am just about to buy my fmic for my starlet EP82.
