I havent missed an MPH show apart from the first one. They are awesome! Last one had the first showing of the Gumpert Apollo lol
-
Evil Evil man! OK they did the new 911 Carrera S and they could actually explain how it works. Its kind of UK but less funny and they know what theyre talking about. And they tested Utes
-
I return you to 'Holden vs Ford'! Also they had the first RHD Ford GT 850bhp
-

Makes me feel like a proper driver lol. Someone actually taking tips from my driving. Although have been on that track since I was 15 so I should be good on it by now. Thats actually where I learned to drive rather than the road like most normal people.
-
Yea and the second right hander (Fishermans) is not normally that slippery! The oversteer moment was awesome Of course! Always when Im not working which is three of every four sundays but of course that will end up being when the track days are going to be on of course haha. Wont be taking her out again though. Once I get the audio install back in.......................... *hint hint* And its Phil lol (dont ask how the name came about its a long and less funny than originally story as usual)
-
Yea unfortunately was the track day after we had a mini meet there. Tbh was embarassing since I got raped having a standard 1.3 on ropey, fairly low profile tires. Did a respectable job for a 1.3 though managed to keep ahead of a stripped out race style chevette for 3 or 4 laps on the full circuit so cant really complain. Was clearly doing something right in the corners haha. Nothing scarier than the moment in one of the videos where I realise Im doing 95mph round Debtors Dip on a drying track lol.

Alrighty opinions required in a poll styley. The tilt bracket is on and tbh Im 50/50 on it so the casting vote goes to the community. Should it stay or should it go (obscure reference to The Clash)

I get the feeling unless the angle is too steep they wont really give a shit now the R plates are gone. Well only one way to find out...Which involves findong number plate screws in this useless house lol Ive found everything else so far!
-
Love the shameless plug there but Im in Northern Ireland that would be some trek for me lol. Thats what Ive been hearing that technically they arent legal but my plates arent legal so they might pull me on both. 'Illegal officer? Oh dear look its tilted by accident *Tilt up at roadside* Better?' Is always an option haha
-
Any thoughts is this actually legal? I have one ready to fit if I can find some screws and if its not I can just set the angle to vertical but any thoughts on the likelihood of police being all over me for this?

Agree with Rob youll only distort the sound of the shelf speakers if you have a sub in the boot. As far as makes go I reckon you can't beat Alpine on headunits and I know Im biased but MTX do some incredible subs and some great packages. The boot is quite small though so max I managed to fit in is 2 10" subs with the amp mounted in front of them.

Heres the links. The first one you need to go about a minute in before we set off.
-
Yea I know the look is fairly mint! She might be staying that way for a bit. Got a couple of long run videos will get the youtube links when I get a chance. In the second theres a really good oversteer bit which gets solved through excessive power!!!
-
The latest move saw me decide to take my beloved starlet on the track so out came everything. It will go back in but right now I'm having too much fun with no weight in the back!
-
Any chance of one of the large stickers? And I need one for inside the window if youve got any? Thanks

Truly awesome! Very lol worthy indeed. Although me thinks he put in far too much thought there lol -
Apologies for my absence. Finally got my lazy ass a job so might actually have some money to spend on her now lol. Finally got the alarm fitted been waiting months with it ready to go. Its loud and scares the crap out of people so it does the job well. Apart from that no further updates still got a rear boot lid with a spoiler fitted to go on but no time at present and still donsidering some green interior lighting along with neon speaker rings but those wont be in til I get paid lol.

Whens the Kirky run planned for? Im down at most track days but have missed the last few. Need to get back into the habit lol. As far as I know the following dates are accurate. Thoroughbred Sports Car Club - July 20th, August 31st. TVR Car Club - August 25th, October 5th. Trackskills - July 27th, possibly August 2nd, August 24th, October 19th, November 23rd. For sign up details contact the clubs I have details if anyone wants to take their car out and as far as I know they all start from about 12noon on the track with sign on starting at around 11am but not 100% on that.
