  1. Would love one of these! Would look awesome going for a cruise in one haha. Seem like the sort of thing incredibly rich celebs would buy their kids lol
  2. Depends on what youre looking for. If youre looking for something cheap just go for Halfords stuff. Otherwise just search about and try to get some Kenwood, Vibe, JBL, Alpine stuff cheap if you want proper quality
  3. Congrats mate! I got accepted last year but took a gap year. Going in September to Queens University Belfast to do Computer Science and Maths lol. Fun Fun!
  4. Ken Block FTW! And Mays face was awesome lol! Would have given anything to be in that place!
  5. Legend. Let me know lol. Ill keep eyeballing my old ones lol
  6. @Nangle Any idea are they glued on? Or are they slid in?
  7. That would help lol. Will take one later on mate.
  8. Didnt seem to be any obvious way so Im guessing theyre glued in but no evidence of glue behind the broken part of the clip. So Im stumped on it haha
  9. Still leaves me the issue of getting the old one out of the koukis though. Half the clip is left stuck in the gap :S Good idea though at least gives me an option if all else fails lol. Could just have a look in a scrappy. Me and the gf want to pick up an old heap for a track car so could see if theres a wee starlet sitting around. Looking there for a wee Yaris wiper too
  10. Its the little black clips Even wondering if I can remove the one from my old headlights and put it on the new ones but not sure if and how they come off the old ones
  11. OK so as most people will know Ive bought a set of Kouki headlights for my n/a. Problem is one of the plastic clips holding the headlights in and used for alignment is broken. Does anyone have any idea if they can be removed and replaced or if there is any alternative? Ive already checked out the parts diagram (Thanks Joz) but it doesnt seem to be on the part list Any thoughts?
  12. to be honest mine only went in by brute force in the end. Ill need to get some close up pics so will do that for you all later. Ill take a pic of what needs to be cut as well as I got them already cut
  13. Ive got the fronts in. You need to cut a little off the front to make them fit and its still a really tight squeeze lol. Ill try and get you the pics up of mine and the mods. I got them off AlanD I think. Long time ago though lol
  14. Might go cant access it in work so will check the details when I get home lol
  15. Michael Jackson is to be melted down and made into shopping bags so that he stays white, plastic and dangerous for children to play with
  16. Michael Jacksons family have requested that he be cremated however due to California State Law as he is made from 70% plastic he must be recycled
  17. Stick the Halfrauds one back in the box and give it back lol
  18. Try Halfords for the wiring looms I got mine from there. You need a Pioneer one and then a Toyota one as well. Probably about £25-£30 for the pair. Unless you can get them from Angie of course lol
  19. Saw this on the BTCC website and thought Id share. Probably old news now but how does everyone feel about the changes? " Technical overview: NGTC The BTCC has released details of its â??Next Generation Touring Carâ?? (NGTC), to be introduced from 2011. The introduction of these new technical regulations are designed to fulfil the following criteria: â?¢ Dramatically reduce the design, build and running costs of the cars and engines â?¢ Maintain present levels of performance until 2013, to ensure performance parity with current S2000 cars â?¢ Reduce the potential for significant performance disparities between cars â?¢ â??Future proofâ?? the regulations by being able to easily modify the various performance parameters â?¢ Reduce reliance on WTCC/S2000 equipment, due to increasing costs/complexity and concerns as to its future sustainability/direction Brief Specifications: â?¢ Front-wheel-drive â?¢ 2-litre turbocharged production-based 4-cylinder petrol engine, producing approx. 300bhp with a 7,000 rev limit, 0.8 bar of boost and inlet-restrictor. â?¢ 6-speed sequential semi-automatic gearbox â?¢ Increased minimum length of 4.4m â?¢ Standardised width of 1875mm â?¢ 2, 3, 4 or 5 door â?? providing they share the same basic silhouette and dimensions as the 4/5 door saloon version â?¢ Fully adjustable subframe-mounted front & rear suspension â?¢ Larger wheels/tyres â?¢ Common major components to be utilised; such as ECU, gearbox, brakes, hubs, steering rack, fuel tank and etc. â?¢ Integrated front aerodynamics to incorporate radiators, cooling ducts and partial flat-floor to a given design parameter/dimension. Specified rear wing profile and size. Each car to be wind-tunnel tested to achieve similar aero equality â?¢ Increased driver safety â?¢ Stronger and more robust major components with full at-event parts supply service and support â?¢ Lower C02 emissions output than current Chassis Production bodyshell with a standardised roll cage design/specification. Front & rear subframes to incorporate specified suspension/brake components and engine location. Bespoke TOCA-sourced components for some major items such as gearbox, suspension, brakes, dampers, sub-frames and suchlike â?? thus taking tens of thousands of pounds out of the costs of designing and developing these for each team. Teams will have far less of their capital tied up through not having to maintain a large spares inventory â?? the major component suppliers will maintain a sufficient level of inventory to service the teams. Car design/development/build costs will be reduced by some 50 per cent from current â?? with an achievable target price of £100k per car â??ready to raceâ??, plus engine. (A new S2000 car can cost in excess of £200k). Engine The base engine can be sourced from a manufacturerâ??s broad â??familyâ??, including subsidiary brands under their effective control, with the bore/stroke allowed to be altered to achieve the 2-litre displacement. Items such as camshafts, pistons, dry sump, inlet and exhaust system systems will be free (within set parameters). A 'Technical Review Panel' may review any individual applications to redesign some standard engine components, but only for reliability purposes. A specified turbo, wastegate, intercoolers, injectors and ECU (engine control unit) will be mandated to reduce development costs and opportunities for technical infringements. Each new engine developed will be tested on a TOCA-nominated engine dynamometer to monitor output levels. Even though the new engine will produce more power/torque, the engine development and costs will be dramatically reduced by over 50 per cent from current, with new engines costing around £15k each (after initial development costs). An engine should last a full season without requiring a rebuild, in normal use, with a rebuild cost of around £8k at seasonâ??s end. A â??TOCAâ?? (i.e. unbranded) NGTC engine will be commissioned and available to those teams who do not wish to undertake their own individual engine development programme. These will be available at a fixed cost per engine of £25k a year (leased with full at-event support service) or £20k to purchase. Engine rebuilds will cost £8k. This TOCA engine may also be available for use in upgrading S2000 cars in the future, to reduce engine costs for those teams and extend the competitive life of their current cars. Performance Parity A policy of equivalence in overall performance between the current S2000 and the â??Next-Genâ?? cars will be maintained until 2013, to provide asset protection for the S2000 cars and parity of competition throughout that period. In simple terms, the two specifications of cars will be equally eligible for outright honours â?? and be equivalent in overall performance â?? until 2013. From 2013, whilst S2000 cars will still be eligible, the â??Next-Genâ?? cars/engines will then be progressively increased in performance and a turbo â??over-boostâ?? facility be incorporated to allow a regulated amount of short power boosts during each race. Stability of the new technical regulations will be maintained for at least five years (i.e. to the end of 2016), when they may be reviewed. However, it is the clear intention that the fundamental aspects of these regulations will continue well beyond those first five years and will not be substantially altered beyond minor updates (if appropriate). In all likelihood, the older BTC-spec cars will cease to be eligible from 2011 â?? although this is yet to be confirmed." Seems like this should close up the pack a bit more. Im struggling to think of a large, 2litre, turbo, FWD, petrol cars that would qualify lol
  20. A quick update all the pics are still stuck on my pc at home so need a chance to upload them lol. With thanks to a UKSC guide Ive moved the head unit to the cig lighter spot and put the din slot where it used to be... And yea I might have broken the DIn slot when I was bored lol but the cup holders sucked anyway they were too small for even a can of coke! On a happier topic the headlights are fitted however one of the little socket joints was broken so they swing a little lol but they need off for MOT so doesnt bother me lol Will get pics up asap when I can be bothered haha
  21. Im back!!!! It sucks But I have a load of pics which I will get put up when I get a chance.
  22. Terrible just doesnt do justice to how bad that is. Would love to slap the idiot who thought that was a good idea
  23. Kind of difficult to know how to react to that lol. Looks a little bit mad is all thats coming to mind right now. God only knows who decided that would be a good idea! Lol
  24. @ Sparky all I can say is DO IT!!! Well worth the money and a lot cheaper than it used to be. I havent seen an eclipse back home either theyre really rare if there are any and the GT has a 3litre V6 I think @ Speedfreak the deal was for a mustang (or similar) looks like we got the or similar lol. Worth it though. @ garbla were staying in a place called Davenport just off the I-4 near Champions Gate. Would definately be up for it if youre in the area. New best thing of the trip! Motorbike gang vs Roush 427R Mustang Awesome awesome awesome! We were coming down the road and spotted a Mustang and all said 'Ohhhhh Mustang' Then saw the badge saying 427 on the back. Was so cool and really great noise from the V8 and despite expecting him to be blown away by the bikes he really gave them a good run. Neither of them were trying properly though since we kept up... as did a Ford Edge. Look it up pretty epic looking wagon!
  25. OK So as a few of you know Im in Florida at the moment living it up. I feel mean but Im not rubbing it in. Just updating you and reccommending Florida to everyone!
